Blokker_1999: They all followed the same storyline, but the last movie was hooked directly onto the end of the second movie, CONTINUING its storyline. It did have a very deep and expressed continuation of the storyline... probably moreso than those that came before it. I loved the Bane bit though... I thought it was stupid that they didn't have him catch on, I mean c'mon.. "Mr. Anderson..." I dont know shit about actors or their names, but the person who played Smith was by far the best actor in any of the movies. If it wasn't for him, it wouldn't have been the same. My apologies if this has been mentioned somewhere prior, but I seem to be missing some ramps in stunt mode... if you need my help figuring out why, I will help you. These ramps are not there, I can drive / walk where they normally exist and I do not collide with them. I have seen people go through loops, etc. whereas I am very limited Anyways, screenshots'll tell, so... Note: drips are from the crack, but I can tried without and the ramps were still gone... I only get the boatramps... not the other ones.

Its the end of the war, who cares if they died. A few golden characters dying isn't any big deal. What if the show was from someone elses perspective? Then their deaths would have been meaningless, just as all of those who died at the dock. Entertainment-wise it was better tahn the second movie, which was pure shit... but some things really turned me off - the whole "software" thing and how it was introduced in the second movie carrying over within the first few minutes with that "train man" bullshit, all the way to all of the Smiths self-destructing just because one does? Doesn't make too much sense - sure, they may be connected, but just becuase one is lost, the rest are? And why do they call everything "programs?" ...dont answer that, it probably wont be technically-minded, and though it may be in the / a different future, I dont think the word "programs" would even quite suffice... Some parts seemed to stretch it far for the sake of entertainment (not belief), but for the end of a series and with how it ties into the storyline, some of it works... such as the blind messiah I did like the colorwork - ever since the first movie, they've continued with the lack of luminescence, all the way until the end - even though Trinity sees it shortly before she is impaled with machine parts, everyone who is freed / or what? becuase it doesnt' seem technically "freed" in the world shown at the end... / can now see that beauty... see the light I only wish the game, in its stupidity and uneventful gameplay, continued throughout with this same scheming - some parts seemed too luminous, or not of the same color shades and scales as in the movie. ....So what about this movie you might be asking after my rambling? I dont know. I dont like to involve too much storyline, that varies from movie to movie, and it was done how it was done becuase thats the way it was meant to be done. As for my enjoyment and thoughts, I laid those out. To sum it up.. the first one is completely different from the second two - they seem to show a more personal, man-vs-machine setting, set in a war and on a path to freedom, whereas the first was completely independent, and more of one mans struggles to find his own power - and, barely getting away with it, showing that he can end the "war" so mistakenly forgot about in the first one.

I know what causes this - it isn't driver, OS or anything-else related. Make sure you have the correct american.gxt in your the \MTA directory. You know if you have it if the menus in the game dont look the same (ie. there is no save/load game, etc).

To be serious, I will verify I am experiencing this issue as well. It seems related to the new passenger exitcode that doesn't dump you in the air when you exit a vehicle, rather seems to dump you to one of the sides or behind (I have only successfully done it twice, so the dev's obviously would know more about how it works than I do). It looked nice, when it worked. No more chopper blades on exit.. Why it would cause you to crash, I dont know, but it seems like a pretty big bug to me... no more passengers until the next patch/version

I started to spend my peripherals but I ran out of wireless devices. I dont think the monitor is interfacing with the bluetooth connector correctly. Is that why there is random packetloss and crashing when getting out of a vehicle? I tried running at 1124x7000 res and that didn't work... any comments?

You only get "double the speed" if your internet isn't efficient enough to pipe all of the data at once, or if there are limits on the server per connection. Otherwise, it just about does you no good. I guess you haven't seen what else is installed when you install your DAP crap... ah well. Make your own if you want something like that. Getting a file 15 seconds faster'll definately help, 'eh? Try something other than IE, other browsers have things builtin to help against failed downloads..

Nick Theft: who cares. people steal your name, use a variant until they leave. Its just like with any other game that has public, unpermanent naming... who cares? If anything, make it so you can change your name in-game. I personally dont like the idea. What I would like to see is an open interface for getting current gamedata with ASE off, as you said, so scripts can utilize these features and not need to be listed on ASE. When I lived out in the middle of nowhere, I got 2megaBYTES/sec on cable... they started implementing tighter caps though, probably due to misconfiguration and evnetually was around 3-4mbit.

I have only been killed a total of one time by chopper blade that wasn't by me getting out of a chopper. If anything, fix the routine to exit a vehicle... but leave the chopper blades in. Its sure fun to both see and do... and hey, when you die, you come back with full weapons Regarding sound, If your soundcard isn't set up and you can't dodge, thats your own problem. Even in a huge battle, I can always hear those things. They have a distinct sound...

I play with a person who, I believe, uses a PS2 controller without an issue. If it works in single-player, it should work fine in MTA.

The actors will not throw the molotovs and grenades the same distance you do. They will in fact always throw them at the same distance away, which is nearly enough not to get hit by it themself. So there is no point in throwing the things miles away. I caught on to this and now I hate it... I either throw too short to be hit myself, or throw just a little too long to hit the person I wanted to. I wish I could throw whatever distance I wanted...

This isn't about piracy - influenced by piracy, yes, but it is aimed at "intellectual property rights" and assumes everyone wants these so-called "rights" when it is actually taking away rights. As a music filesharing example, many artists (wheter you believe it or not, try something that isn't mainstream) endorse filesharing to spread their music and their name. If it is made illegal, simply because someone created it... what use is filesharing to these people? It makes no sense. Another example is backups... illegal to make and/or use a backup of something you own? Going so far as a felony to circumvent protections? If you dont want to sign, again, thats fine. I didn't post this to have posts against this, if you dont want to sign, dont do it., If, however, you understand that freedoms you and millions of others enjoy now or may enjoy in the future are endangered and you want to sign, then sign.

I normally play 56k. I tend to hit people randomly with pistols. Sometimes I wont hit them and they'll take the damage. Just get close to them and fire away. Also, SMGs while running works for me and helps the opponent not hit me. If the opponent is firing at you at the same time you are firing at them and both of you hit eachother, no damage will be done. If I use the huge guns, I tend to die more because they keep me stationary and though I may be firing at someone who is firing at me, someone else may be firing at me as well. Team up with someone. If both if you fire at a target and try to fire in front of where they are going to go, you'll have more of a chance of killing them.
