  3. You guys should have stopped developing MTA at 1.4. Thin and mean, worked perfectly. Mind you it still hated anyone for not lagging their system with virus software, nagging every third start up with a wait and check box to stop the annoyance of your net nannying our viral status for 3 more days. But at least it ran well. Never crashed. Now your bloating leaves me crashed out once a week and my i7-4790 cant even run mta because the process shift from gta_sa.exe to system after 6 hours shifts from 3% processes to one thread 1 maxed at 13% processes. And your hating, your hating has spread to XP. Do you total noobs really think anyone on the planet doesnt know XP isnt perfect? Seriously do you think you are helping anyone at all with your big red banner of XP hatred across the top of the mta client which btw crashed on start up for first time ever, locking up my system with your fat annoying code and cult like updatism. Which is why you really hate XP, not enough room for your broken ideas. Stop annoying everyone with your updates, your hatred, and our crashes for the sake of whos security, your own?
  4. MTA should still switch over to GTA IV. MTA's development for most of 2015-16 has been lateral if not in decline. New features unneeded, unused, unappreciated. Bloatware is MTA:SA's future as it doubles in size each year with each new idea that wastes your time, our processes and patience with incessant crashing that never used to be there; all the while GTA IV stands as a perfect eyesore of undeveloped possibility. You ask me? they've not developed GTA IV because they can't. Not because they don't want to but because they don't know how to. IV:MP is a nightmare that the Nanos team abandon for a reason. They didn't know how to do it right either. Nor did Citizen IV before they were shutdown for FiveM. GTAIV is highly unstable, IVMP crashes frequently, and is only populated by the most diehard addicts. Yet there it is. The perfect open market for the next generation. Unconquered. Unconquerable. Moby IV. Thar be a white whale no man can catch!
  5. Twice in the past two days MTA has just locked up frozen. No crash. No restart dialog. No error report. One minute I'm watching my server and noticing its awfully quiet, then i realize nothing works. Just a perfectly frozen image of your average day at LV Air. Only ctrl+alt+del exits to crash and restart program manually. This is an all new bug since last update. Two years on MTA never seen anything like this. Window 7 HP. An MTA idle machine with over 10,000 hours on MTA. Version on screen says 1.5.2
  6. Is anti-virus still a thing? seriously...? I've lived online for 15 years 24/7 with 3 computers and never used anti-virus anywhere. they are slow, laggy, and only used by those who don't have a better plan. My computer so much as blinks at me i reimage it. And never lag due to anti-virus. But to my point. I have ticked this check box a thousand times. Do you know what bullying is MTA? It is trying to force your way on to others. I will NEVER install an anti-virus!! MY PC will NEVER lag due to anti-virus or be a part of a botnet. Please offer a master check box in settings to turn this incessantly annoying popup off permanently. Thanks you.
  7. Officially Cracked (Part 4) GTA-MP You failed due to the exact reasons I previously outlined you would absolutely fail under. And your next step (https://forum.gta-mp.net/ Dec 9 2015) is to continue along those lines? The exact reasons i was ridiculed for raising below, several months before it happened. And your solution is to wash, rinse, repeat? Do you have an extra goto 10 line in your code somewhere? This is not how multiplayers happen! The single player mod format is exactly this: You do not ask. You do not notify. You do not request anything from any copyright holder ever. You do not ever involve yourself with anything to do with that company. You do not reference them in any way. You do not know them. You've never even heard of them. You don't even know what the game is. (Watch Mafia movies until you understand this point) You are building a single player mod. If single player mods are legal with them they are legal period. Your GTA-MP failure has set a horrific precedent for the third-party single player modding community that it needs to learn from. NEVER GET INVOLVED ON ANY LEVEL WITH THE COPYRIGHT HOLDERS!!!!!! Just write a solid, unconditional, third-party, single player mod as most EULA allow that functions with any functioning copy of the game and uses no copyrighted part of it in its base code. Or see your repeated failures take down an entire community. Before starting MJC3, pause. This is the dawn of a great success or an equally catastrophic failure. Pause and study not copyright law. Don't contact copyright holders here or there. Look at what exists and emulate it. 10 years MTA and sa-mp have thrived. Their model is your model.   9. mtaserver.conf 36 The Skimmer (Seafloat Airplane) Takes off from the water just fine mtaserver.conf 72 The Skimmer flies normal in all situations as do all other vehicles drive on land and water but the Skimmer will not taxi at normal speed on the water and will not gain enough speed to lift off and fly away... It tries and tries but never moves more than very slowly despite full throttle... Error? Solutions at 72fps?

    as it turns out that wasn't actually doing what i thought. It was only bypassing F1 to play on re-sign in, not first sign in. Question remains open how to send keys? Or how to connect and play without pressing the ever tedious F1...

  17. onPlayerQuit I have player stats and scores to record... what happens when they get kicked? I did not find an onPlayerKicked event, did I miss it? Some players get kicked and do not return immediately. How do i record stats and scores after a kick as though it were a quit?

Am trying to plug a leak in my San Andreas Prison: high fences, no escape, certain death, but some players join and before the download finishes climb ten feet up a small building then run toward the edge and float 500 feet or more at that same altitude over the fence. They float through the air in the falling anim, not the halfway though my jump anim of low gravity but the oh sh*t, arms and legs flailing anim of a long vertical fall, but this is never vertical, And they move laterally at the same altitude continually and do not fall... all before the download is even finished. What is this?

When a user logs into my server those user names and passwords are stored in a file called server\mods\deathmatchinternal.db which i suspect is a stock mta function. server-side getAccount(user,pass) retrieves my information with their user pass data? server-side logIn (source, account, password) matches their data to mine in internal.db and lets them login?   22. Yes server-side is where i would like to create a text file for each join, and remove it on each part. I tried loading this same script that mostly works to server side but it did nothing.   23. So if these are being written to the client directory. I presume then they are being written to all client directories of all users. I would prefer it would create a single file on the server for each user that joins. How on join can i create a file on the server, in the server resource directory would be fine. Edit: And perhaps I missed this, but fileDelete appears to only clear the contents of the file. And not traditionally "Delete" the file. I would like to delete/remove/destroy the file on user part but do not see this function other than perhaps fileRename to the recycle bin? Seems like a better answer might exist.
