yeah , go ahead , diable your firewall , give hackers an chance to beat you PC up with their sh*t . Turn off firewall protection at ports 2003 and 2126 ONLY. Then go to the all seeing eye , click New Host in the toolbar , put in your IP after the IP and deselect : "private server" Are you behind an router?? forward 2003 and 2126 to your PC. Try NOT running one of the pc in windows 98 compability. in other words: DO NOT USE THE WINDOWS 98 COMPABILITY IN XP. make sure none of your pc's is using windows 98. Open port 2003 and port 2126 on your firewall , disable the windows built in firewall , and download zone alarm at http://www.zonealarm.com . Try running the server in Windows 2000 compability , if that fails , then try running the client on 2000 compability. Download the Vice City 1.1 patch . If you use an no-cd crack , get an good one. I cant give you the link frankly. Just add [email protected] to MSN if you have it. When I use Microsoft error tracing it says it was an error in my virus scanner (http://www.free-av.com) , i turned my virus scanner off , and tried again , and microsoft still says its the virus scanner . ITS NOT MY VIRUS SCANNER , i even unistalled it to check , and then it says it's gta-vc.exe . I have an crash that is worse then the normal fatal exeption crash , im in the midle of play, then , MTA crshes , it goes back to the desktop , then quits making an weird sound. When I start windows again it says , WINDOWS IS RECOVERED FROM AN SERIOUS CRASH or something , and I send the report file (like I always do) to microsoft. I have set Windows not to reboor on error via: Desktop>My Computer>Advanced>Boot and Recover settings> and then ive set the option dont reboot on error on , now: I play , MTA craches , MTA quits , I get an bleu sceen with PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA or something. I think Ijsvogel and Blokker 1999 are from the netherlands , so I thought this board had the dutch law around it , sorry. WAREZ are total downloads of games in ISO or ZIP format (or maby RAR) , no cd cracks are legal , most people use them cuz the game boots up faster , and it hangs a lot less when getting inside an car (atleast with me). I read trough all the posts in this topic, and now I have the awnser : YOUR NO-CD CRACK SUCKS most no-cd cracks will not work in MTA , but I found an working one , send me your e-mail address at [email protected] , and i will send it to you. Xanni

Sometimes routes cause the problems , try upgrading the firmware of your router. And put the built in firewall protection that some routers have off. Also forward ports 2003 to your pc your playing on. else : reinstall GTA Vice City dont use mods dont tweak it yourself OR ELSE , i dont know it anymore. Try using an different router , install the 1.1 patch , check if the server has the latest server software (the mminternet and wojjie serveres always have the latest software) Xanni Wellando P.S.
