  1. Dear MTA players and server owners, Thank you for participating in my survey in regards of Anti-Bounce 3. It has taught me a lot about why people like and don't like Anti-Bounce. This, together with the other important questions you answered will definitely be used to make Anti-Bounce 3 the best version yet. Anyhow, based on the results I will release a version 2.6.0 of Anti-Bounce already containing recording tools that allow you to record a bounce that happened but went undetected and glitches that you expect to be caused by Anti-Bounce. This will help me a lot in investigating the reason behind these and solving them for Anti-Bounce 3 and the versions afterwards. For server owners it is very clear that the customization possibilities are still heavily wanted and therefore they'll be kept in, this version will automatically convert your old 'config.xml' file into the new format and will have backwards compatibility for all exported functions and events (although some of them will be marked as deprecated, so update them eventually).   3. Community page, it solves a well known problem that mostly occurs in the DD/DM community in MTA. Basically your cars suddenly bounces and causes you to fail without any visible reason whatsoever, it's not the maps fault and not that of the player either. This script is able to detect and prevent this from happening. It's not 100% accurate as we had to trade-off some accuracy for the sake of compatibility of newer maps. However, I'm finally uncovering the underlying reason of why these bounces happen and will be rewriting the detection system in Anti-Bounce 3.

  5. Try the solution provided by ccw in the second post. Those fixed the freezes, although I would also check your drivers as in my case that was mostly the reason why it happened in the first place. I did not yet fix the other issues though.
  6. Disabling aero has no effect whatsoever. The NVidia optimus screen allows me to start up the game without crashing when using "Standard NVidia, Alternate NVidia, Standard Intel & Alternate Intel" but this does not solve the ALT+TAB and ShadowPlay issues. All other options simply result in a crash.
  7. Hey, A while ago I was having freezes upon entering the main menu which was resolved. Recently I started encountering more and more GPU related issues with other programs and decided to do a clean install of Windows and make sure everything is alright from the start on (since that was faster and easier than attempting to fully clean up anything NVidia had left on my laptop before doing a clean driver install). Everything works perfectly well on my pc now but MTA has had some issues. They are as follows: - I have to run MTA in compatibility mode as not doing so results in a crash. (Error message) - I cannot use alt+tab as that simply makes my screen go black. - ShadowPlay is no longer able to detect the game or at least not able to record it.   9. Any thought on it so far? EDIT: The issue remains on MTA SA: 1.5.2. Basically what happens is that proxy_sa.exe doesn't react at all and cannot be stopped through the task manager, I simply get a message that it doesn't let me close it. Only when causing a graphics update, in this case unplugging my second monitor, the exe unfreezes and allows me to continue.
  10. Borderless window and borderless keep res both work fine. However, I'm (obviously) not willing to play on borderless as it has a huge impact on the perfomance and even the brightness.
  11. As my previous topic got simply ignored I decided to create a new one in the hope that it raises more awareness. I can barely play MTA anymore due to this bug. Recently I've updated my Windows 10 to the latest version and since then MTA freezes when it reaches the main menu. You basically see the menu but it's not fully fade in yet. This issue seems to be related to proxy_sa.exe as used by MTA as this also happens in singleplayer when proxy_sa.exe is being used. Using gta_sa.exe works fine (in singleplayer). I have a second monitor (my television temporarily) and when unplugging it the menu suddenly unfreezes. This does however not mean that it also works without that monitor as it freezes as well when it's not plugged in, it's merely a way to get it to unfreeze.   14. Uninstalling NahimicMSI as you've suggested. I've installed the most recent version after I tested it without it being installed and no longer have any issues.

  17. The object is "vegasNbball1" , its ID is 6959 and it's not a custom model. It's commonly used in Shooter and DM maps.
  18. Hey, I recently started having a bug where objects would heavily deform when moving my camera (in the editor) or by looking at them in certain angles.   20. Talked with him on skype and he got confused. He simply meant that 1920x1080x32 doesn't show up for him. For some reason he thought that changing the aspect ratio would change the resolutions show in the list.
  21. CEF was added in a different branch by one person at first. Meanwhile the others devs were working hard on fixing bugs (which they did!). Beside CEF really isn''t useless as it gives a whole new range of possibilities as seen in my previous post. I was able to run a gameboy emulator (written in JavaScript, not by me though) in the browser so...

  23. I was one of the people that already started a multiplayer project back then in 2011. We basically had a whole base ready after lots of coding but stopped working on it 2 years later as we realised it was useless to compete with GTA: Online. These multiplayer mods will never have so much players as these in GTA: San Andreas just because the game already has a build-in multiplayer (just like on GTA IV) and therefore there is no easy way to get people to find your project and get them to use it.
