    Help !! CD16

General CD16 error troubleshooting: I think that it's different in your case though, as you said it disconnects you after some time playing, while the typical CD16 renders you unable to connect anywhere.. 1) Are you sure it's CD16 and not another network error code? 2) If so, then first try just one step out of the spoiler guide: download and run this file (rightclick > run as Administrator?https://mirror.multitheftauto.com/mtasa/utils/servicing.bat
  2. Go to settings > video > and set screen mode to "Borderless window keep res" @-DeLeTe-
  3. Press F8 while it hangs and show us the server console output, as it will most likely tell why it fails to boot. Map editor basically runs an isolated local server, and instead of MTA Server.exe it goes through F8. Most likely, independent of the problem, you can solve it by deleting the contents of Program Files > MTA San Andreas 1.5\server and then re-installing MTA using https://nightly.multitheftauto.com/?mtasa-1.5-rc-latest. @BigSmoke

    MTA Crashing

Certain crashes I didn't list are being caused by the program "HiAlgo BOOST" so please uninstall that. Update your chipset driver: https://downloadmirror.intel.com/20775/eng/SetupChipset.exe I expected to be able to suggest more updates, but since your Intel Graphics HD 2000 is end-of-life and already has the latest driver, there's no options left. Once again; - Mind the servers you play on - Utilize the recommendations at https://forum.multitheftauto.com/topic/78081-32-bit-windows-crashing/ - Maybe run some cleaners to increase your OS performance, besides your GPU your laptop *should* be able to run MTA for extended amounts of time, but it may not as a result of a badly mantained OS. As your GPU is running out of memory, accounting for most of the crashes; are you running any demanding applications in the background while playing MTA? @Revin

    MTA Crashing

I see you're just getting 2 types of crash; offset 0x003C91CC (out of video memory) offset 0x000DFF90 (OS sound issues/GTA sound mods, or a symptom of running out of memory) I believe you're playing on very demanding, unoptimized servers (with performance-heavy mods, great download size etcetera) with a slow PC lacking sufficient memory. As you can see, the crashes result from running out of memory, the one documented at https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Famous_crash_offsets_and_their_meaning (0x003C91CC) is the crash you get by far the most, you can upgrade your hardware/GPU or perhaps use a 64-bit windows version if you're running 32-bit, or if you cannot afford that, be picky on the sort of servers you decide to play on, or keep in mind you won't be able to play very long using your current PC's configuration. MTA is generally stable and provides a reliable playing session for low-end PC's, aslong you keep in mind which servers you'll play on. Also i advise you to read through https://forum.multitheftauto.com/topic/78081-32-bit-windows-crashing/ incase you're not on 64-bits. If you want us to help reduce the likelyhood of crashes (by updating some drivers and identifying possible culprits that deteriorate your computer's performance) then do this; Please download and run MTADiag and follow the instructions. Post any Pastebin URL MTADiag gives you in this topic. @Revin
  6. Add a second layer underneath the exterior's surface, and then apply another or the same texture as material to the material ID for that new layer.
  7. The object looks like that because there's no proper material applied to the object(s) in element tree of DFF. In 3DS, press the M key, pencil icon, and then click the surface that is white. The apparent color in 3DS viewport or material ID overview is irrelevant at this point, just click the appropiate material ID and then in bitmap selection, clear the *.tga just to rename it, please note that ordinarily the "tga" materials are loaded right from the TXD, so if a texture name in your TXD is for example "blackandwhite", then you enter "blackandwhite.tga" into the 3DS material bitmap name. Now, aslong this single material ID covers enough of the DFF object's surface, the TXD's texture will load on the model's surface covered by that material ID, so if there's multiple mat ID's you should select the proper one for each, as the TXD should contain all that are neccesary. Let me remind you that most failure are made with invalid references from bitmap texture material name to the textures contained within a TXD.. if a DFF element has a bitmap with name.tga, it expects to load "name" image from TXD, and if its not present, then it simply wont load. These are very common inconsistencies, sometimes there's 15 textures in a TXD and the DFF is only configured (requires) to load 7 that are in the TXD, and sometimes the required, functional textures are present in the TXD but the material (bitmapname.tga) naming doesn't match what the DFF expects, due to lack of communication by several modellers having worked on the same files. You can also export textures as TGA from TXD (for example with Magic.TXD) and then open it in the material library of 3DS, as straightforward .TGA file. This is recommended to load the right bitmap or rendering values, if your TXD seems to have problem loading the right material in. Also make sure that your exporter and general material settings are set to GTA renderware material type (most commonly called "RW_Mtl" or "GTA_Mtl") before applying the specific bitmap/tga/TXD relayed textures to it and expecting it to work. If you're using 3DS, I personally recommend you to use http://gtaforums.com/topic/838479-dff-importer-and-exporter-for-3ds-max and the included GTA material.
  8. This is (was) a server advertisement topic made for a server merely using the GTI gamemode, and I see you're here asking for support with it. Don't ask for help from fellow hosters of the gamemode, but go to the open-source page instead: https://github.com/ChicoRDL/-GTi-RPG-V3- I advise you to verify that you got the latest official version of the gamemode from there, and if you do and it's still bugging, to open up an issue from that github page, or post on their original open-source topic and ask for support: https://forum.multitheftauto.com/topic/82480-grand-theft-international-open-source-v3/ Closing this advertisement topic as it's well past its time and there's been a (suppressed) history of flamewars on it.
  9. As you can read on https://github.com/PTPM/MTASA, the project has been discontinued and is now open-source. If you know that there's currently no Protect the prime minister gamemode-based server, and that it's open-source, then what's stopping you from hosting one yourself? They clearly made it open-source to prevent it from going to waste one day. Last january, they added this notice onto their github README: so I think it's likely January 2018 is also the time they stopped hosting the server. @localvendor
  10. The last edit there was about a year ago, and done by a Moderator, not the user. Especially for the scripting section it's vital not to allow editing to prevent people from wiping what may be useful for others, after they have gotten their solution. For reasons like this, you can only get it edited if you report the post and let us know (n the report reason) what it has to be changed into, after which one of the moderators will do it for you as soon as possible.
  11. Read another (solved) case of the same sort of flickering: https://forum.multitheftauto.com/topic/103834-screen-flickering I would like you to take all of the steps listed there, including the final one if you have a laptop and are using generic ATI/INTEL/NVIDIA drivers rather than OEM model-specific ones, but the majority of those steps depend on which drivers you'll need, and I can only assist you with that if you provide me with a log; Please download and run MTADiag and follow the instructions. Post any Pastebin URL MTADiag gives you in this topic @Liongson
  12. Note: Please don't create any topics in this section that are not advertising an hosting company/service. Only representatives or providers of said company or service are permitted to post. Regulations for the "Hosting solutions" section In order to make sure the hosting services advertised within this section meet the expectations of our userbase, we would like to introduce regulations to guarantee the relevance of ads to our typical audience. We have noticed that a lot of general hosting services, which are not necessarily aimed at MTA-related services, are being posted by commercial parties from around the globe considering it an easy, generic advertisement channel. To deter this, we will from now on require you to specify in your topic what exactly makes you a suitable hoster for MTA servers or related services that MTA server owners may find interesting. Our forums are not a general webmaster/hosting community, so you must link each service to some sort of usability for MTA. This means for example, that MTA server hosting is to be served by VPS or dedicated servers, for which you should motivate what makes you a suitable gameserver hoster as company/datacenter, instead of just copying a scheme or template from your business' usual offerings. If you are a business and decide to post here, then you should be aware that hosting services/plans your company is offering are able to meet the typical requirements of gameserver hosting. Likewise, webhosting services are most often marketed for general purposes and are the most common type of service. We do not want to see generalized offers for these that encourage readers to use it for general purpose or their personal websites (like if we were a webmaster forum), but we require you to set apart the usage of these plans by for example aiming such services directly on the upkeep of MTA server communities/their forums. It's not allowed to post advertisement topics just offering webhosting, as the bigger picture must profile you as a company that focuses merely on MTA server hosting or closely related services, with possibly additional MTA-aimed webhosting. A. Posting guidelines: Your topic must consist of at least 3 parts, including: 1) an introduction of yourself/the company you represent, describing what attracts you to MTA hosting, and what distinguishes you in the gameserver hosting field 2) a proper plans and pricing scheme in the topic itself (or alternatively a link to its source) and advice for/information on the suitability for each plan for what purpose 3) an indication whether your servers are professionally hosted (like in a datacenter/reselled) or if you are just hosting them yourself and are not a company If you represent a company, you should also mention the chamber of trade or business registration number (or similar, based on your respective country's laws) and this should be reflected accurately on the website listed. To reduce the risk of scams/improper portrayal of a (perhaps well-established) business you are not really an employee of, you are also not allowed to request or encourage potential customers to make the service payments outside of the appropriately mentioned official company website or ordering channel (like requesting payment by forum PM while you listed a website to offer your hosting packages through). This guideline is only applicable if you did in fact add an alleged official website to the advertisement topic or if you're actively marketing yourself off as a company which usually has a known website where orders are managed through. B. Additional posting regulations: 1) Your post should be in English, or consist of multiple languages but with the English version at the beginning. 2) If you want to advertise hosting services in another language, then you should use the Other Languages boards; they often have their own subforum for hosting solutions. If they don't, you can post in the general or server section there, unless its moderators decide otherwise. Any non-english topics made in this section are subjected to a move or removal. The moderators of other language boards furthermore decide the lenghts they want to enforce this general policy as is this topic that you're reading, they can enforce it even despite the lack of a (translated) copy of it in their section or use it as a guideline to base their decisions off. We encourage moderators of other languages boards that receive regular hosting services ads to translate these regulations, adopt them, or set apart their own regulations. 3) You're not allowed to request full ('real') names or other sensitive personal data of anyone in the topic or through PM. If you're a company, you can do so on your own private platforms (such as customer account or entry, billing), just not in public within the topic. If you're not a company, then please don't request full name or any form of personal documents at all. We have seen too many incidences of dangerous use of privacy-sensitive information. Additionally, if you offer "free" server hosting and ignore this guideline and still request (extensive) personal details, and (contrary to the guideline for businesses) even if this happens on your own platform environment/site, your topic may get instantly deleted without warning or notification. Anyone with knownledge of this practise happening with free hosting should notify us with a report immediately. Besides that, offering "free" hosting requires you to either be a notable community member (not a new account, and have significant amount of posts and good reputation) or a company that has a reasonably explainable scheme behind it being "free" (as nothing is really free). Failure to meet requirements listed in this topic may lead to a removal of the offer topic from our forums, or notification with a given timeframe to correct it. If you happen to stumble upon offers that do not fullfill these requirements and haven't been noticed by a Moderator yet, then we'd appreciate your help by reporting the post using the report function. If you are browsing this forum section, then please proceed with caution when something appears to be too good to be true. For example, if someone is offering 'free' MTA server hosting, there is a wide array or risks to watch out for (and make thumb rules for). Examples: - Barely anything is really free, you may be surprised by hidden terms or intentions such as hosting providers being interested in stealing your gamemode scripts, or taking control of your server in an illicit fashion if it becomes popular enough. - Take caution providing your sensitive personal data. In the past, some free hosting providers were mainly interested in collection of private, sensitive information. To help protect you, we have recently implemented the anti-data collection policy that applies to providers of free hosting. Even in the case of paid hosting (or any other outlet), always consider the information you're giving out and the risk of identity theft/fraud. All we can do is advise and inform you to our best abilities, take caution and be careful, proceed on your own risk. We advise that you verify the business entity you're dealing with before contracting any kind of hosting provider.
  13. This suggestion seems oriented on a specific server, owned by @Einheit-101 and it is understandable because all of this is done through scripting and the account system is easily re-integrated from hardcoded to custom. For your needs you should post a topic on the SAAW forums, the server you're clearly looking to suggest something for, or ask the owner directly. Go here: http://gta-saaw.blogspot.nl or post in their server topic where he tends to get back to requests: https://forum.multitheftauto.com/topic/85193-saaw-san-andreas-at-war-world-war-ii-v12-247/ Edit 10th June: Topic moved off suggestions section, deleted some bumping posts and locked; please keep suggestions for a specific server confined to their topic, if any. ( @Jaysds1, @Dicks4Breakfast, @Einheit-101 )
  14. We do not support/encourage piracy, if it has to neccesarily be a download, this: https://store.steampowered.com/app/12120/Grand_Theft_Auto_San_Andreas/ is a good option.
  15. Please review the requirements again. If you don't apply the requirements within 24 hours your topic will be removed. @TarzanBoy
  16. "cloning" a server by the looks of it isn't something that we can do anything about. Then what are they copying, the server name? In that case you should post on https://forum.multitheftauto.com/topic/26205-server-list-spam/ although server clantags (like "SAUG") are hard to prove proprietary, if the full server name wasn't copied. In neither case (whether or not they just copied server name or 'cloned' the visuals of your server) can we assist you, this is an affair for yourself to figure out as MTA doesn't usually police servers like a centralised authority, even while you may feel like such actions are childish. Read https://forum.multitheftauto.com/topic/104292-clon-servers/ for more info. Locked.

    MTA = Soundless

Download & install the following drivers: - http://12244.wpc.azureedge.net/8012244/drivers/rtdrivers/pc/audio/0009-64bit_Win7_Win8_Win81_Win10_R282.exe - https://downloadmirror.intel.com/20775/eng/SetupChipset.exe It looks like device drivers aren't being registered properly on your PC. Please get back to me if this won't solve it. Also, how small it might seem, rightclick the sound icon on taskbar, select "volume mixer" while MTA is running and ensure it's turned up.
  18. Zip up the contents of C:/Windows/minidump and upload it to http://upload.mtasa.com & provide the link on this topic.
  19. Please download and run MTADiag and follow the instructions. Post any Pastebin URL MTADiag gives you in this topic.

    MTA crashing

No, it's a very rare crash (only by users affected with this kind of OS/driver issues) that not for no reason only happen on just 3 or 4 servers, however as I said any script being able to cause the crash, is merely a symptom of the underlying issue, as 99.999% of MTA users wouldn't encounter this crash on the same server at all. It's just a correlation, the script calls something your PC cannot currently handle due to its own problems. However, that means if you tried desperately and cannot get rid of the crash, playing on other servers is a temporary solution (in your case this would mean stopping to play on ZNext zombies server), not to say your drivers or OS are then still in a bugged state, which can cause other crashes or issues in a later stage. Assuming you really followed all instructions I gave, there's a few options left, let's start with this: download https://mirror.multitheftauto.com/mtasa/utils/servicing.bat then rightclick > Run as Administrator let it finish (must.. always close on its own, dont close it yourself) after that reboot your PC and start MTA to see Generate a new MTADiag log and post it here after doing this. @Zuku

    MTA crashing

The crash occurs in MSACM32.dll at offset 0x00004a12, this is a Windows OS DLL for "Microsoft ACM Audio Filter". Information in the crashdump directly refers to audio driver problems, so you can probably solve it by installing/updating with the following driver: http://12244.wpc.azureedge.net/8012244/drivers/rtdrivers/pc/audio/0009-32bit_Win7_Win8_Win81_Win10_R282.exe. (your current driver looks like recent, but it has been tampered with/modified, the driver release date doesn't match the version.. do never download any drivers from other sites than official manufacturer/brand pages) Also make sure not to use custom (audio) codecs. Restore gta_sa.exe in the GTA installation directory to the default version, yours is unknown. Update with this driver too; https://www2.ati.com/drivers/legacy/13-9-legacy_vista_win7_32_dd_ccc_whql.exe (ATI audio driver components can sometimes interfere if it's buggy) After doing all that, open up a commandprompt and enter: sfc /scannow (when this finishes, reboot your PC) as a quick search turns up that MSACM32.dll is prone to file corruption too. @Zuku Note: the problem exposes itself only at certain servers, which use some (audio stream/play functions) scripts that trigger this symptom of underlying OS/driver issues (only very few unique users get this crash, but just on a couple of servers).
  23. Nothing can be done about this, we can't help you. It's your own affair especially because both 'owners' hold copyrights of the gamemode, sadly we see lots of similar conflicts. Internal disagreements/arguments is nothing for us to get involved with, MTA can't police this.
  24. Please download and run MTADiag and follow the instructions. Post any Pastebin URL MTADiag gives you in this topic. FPS or network lag? Spikes, or permanent and steadily low FPS?
