Like Kent said, look in your router's manual or go their website. It'll tell u how to do it. This is a very common thing. Usually it just requires logging into your router's web interface (eg, 192.168.0.1) and going to the WAN section and ticking the box that has says 'Enable DMZ'.

Does MTA or Windows give u any errors before it reboots? Do you have any other applications running at the same time? Please post your system specs too.

Yeah it may help some problems, but it may also be adding others. In any case, i'd suggest reinstalling GTA:VC and then reinstalling MTA. Don't use any mods, don't make any changes to files, and see what happens. If you use the no-cd crack, but it still doesn't work, then delete the crack and copy the original exe back and see what happens. You may have to end up using the cd to play. But you could also make an ISO of your CD and mount it using a program like daemon tools, that's what i do. That way u don't need to be inserting the cd in each time.

I too encountered this once. I wasn't banned from the server though, i was just disconnected, i was able to rejoin it right after.

Ok that error typically means you dont have ALL the orginal VC files installed. But you said u reinstalled everything, so i don't know what the problem is then. Was MTA installed into its own directory? You should see a folder C:\Program Files\MTA And during the installation of MTA when it asked u to select the GTA:VC folder did u make sure and point it to C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA VC\gta-vc.exe ?

yeah, and i'd like to know where i can get a bulletproof vest. I found one inside the police station but it wouldn't let me use it, because i was a Mexican. Does anybody know where i can get one close to the Mexican spawnpoint?

yeah and even if u ban them the smarter ones can still come back using sockscap32 (or Hummingbird Socks) and a socks proxy, but i doubt they'd do that unless they wanted to piss u off

Well i suppose all these issues will be resolved much more easily once Rockstar releases their next GTA with multiplayer, whenever that is.
