Use the GTA Launcher, push launch GTA3:MTA, when the credits come up, alt + tab out of the game and connect to the server..you should be in.

Windows 98 is proven to not work in most cases. That's why XP is the main OS. That doesn't mean everyone uses it, but the people who use 98 and can actually get it to work are a minority.

Right now there aren't even teams.. but its a good idea if they are added, team chat. Could just be a different key and it talks to your team. Good thinking.

I know that, I'm only referring to the people who are asking the team to make the next version quickly, and keep asking for a release date.

For all those people who are being impatient and telling the team to get the patch done faster..it's not like they can just crank out new versions every week just to fix every problem. Software development takes time, you have to understand we're playing on a beta version, and the next version will be a lot better. Just be patient so the team doesn't feel rushed, and the work will be a lot better. Then we can have more fun playing instead of complaining about bugs.

I had this somewhat good idea of somehow making the MTA: Vice City servers store the default Vice City "handling.cfg" file, and matching client's "handling.cfg" files to the default on, so if anyone had it altered it would auto kick them from the server. I don't know if this is possible, but I know it's worth a try. Also, I think it'd be cool if you could find a way to disable trainers, because they tend to screw up the game. Keep up the great work guys.
