  1. I need info before from you before i start mentioning the wrong sites, lol 1) Where dos the server need to be located? Europe ? USA? 2) What system OS you need (Is more for windows server) 3) what hard drive you need? And lastly whats your budget around?
  2. I got this picture from a google search but i have filled in for you. Then go to http://www.whatsmyip,org and it will say "Your IP Address is XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX" Give you friends "Your IP Address is XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX" then the port so e.g 33.33.33.33:22003 Or take a look here.... http://portforward.com/english/routers/ ... A_R1.0.htm http://portforward.com/english/routers/ ... ftAuto.htm http://portforward.com/english/routers/ ... t_Auto.htm
  3. you would need to port forward from your router http://portforward.com/english/routers/ ... A_R1.0.htm then give your public ip to your friends not the 192.168.1.3 - get it from whatsmyip.org
  4. Defo no you know how much that uses in the system RAM?
  5. Go for a Windows VPS with say 10 players max and install a bandwidth calculator program and every week have a look to see how many users have been on it, OR the other way is to contact your VPS / Dedicated server provider and ask them how much bandwidth you have used or asked them to bill you bandwidth statement every mouth and you will get an idea. Heres mine between 25th June - 25th July Running both sa-mp - has a 20 player slot (everyday use is about 8 people) multi theft auto - as a 30 player slot (everyday use is about 6 people) used total 121gb My servers total bandwidth is 500gb
  6. Depends on your upload speed, Thats why most people have VPS / Dedicated Servers
