  1. You can't run a server on a webspace,. You will need an unmanaged VPS with full SSH access. VPS servers are starting at 5€/month up to 100€/month.
  2. You are probably on Debian. You are using the wrong library for the MySQL server, check my tutorial for more help (works with MTA MySQL and the module by ryden) viewtopic.php?f=106&t=34979
  3. The function does not work properly, I've submitted a source patch. Still waiting for it to be checked. If you want to use the function you will need to create the folder "trash" inside of "resources-cache". (../mods/deathmatch/resources-cache/trash/) http://bugs.mtasa.com/view.php?id=6936
  4. No Terms of Service, Legal notice or SSL certificate, homepage looks awful. I don't recommend you to buy there.
  5. Reported the people who insulted. Don't forget you need to speak English here, for other languages check this forum viewforum.php?f=117
  6. From my own experience a Race server with 60 players takes up to 550MB of RAM. Since our friend AHSS is willing to host a RPG server with 100 players (MySQL, many elements, timers etc.) it would surely use even more RAM than a racing server. I was already able to take a look into some hosting companies systems, those are mostly expecting a server to have only 30% of its slots filled. So after some while they automatically oversell their service which makes the servers pretty much unplayable. Another problem is that some customers have extrelemly badly coded scripts which sometimes use 100% of a thread. You will barely find any famous of <60 players hosting at a shared host, for one reason => no overselling. EDIT: At the end it is a question of your budget.
  7. 100 players = 600-900MB of RAM but gameserver hosts probably won't be able to handle it. But you can still try it (take a look at my signature).

    Stats

Ask the author himself, pirating or copying scripts is not allowed and ignorant. Learn LUA here: https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/ and make your own stats system (I prefer MySQL).
  9. For 300 players you will need about 1-2 GB of RAM (depends on your scripts), minimum 2 CPU cores; I assume you will probably need a "fast download" (external http) server for you players. I also recommend you to look for a dedi with a 1GBit uplink. Gameserver hosts will surely lag with that much players since their resources are highly limited and sometimes oversold. A decent dedicated server for 90-160€/month would be enough, otherwise an expensive VPS (e.g. http://hosthatch.com/)

    Use of RAM

Skins are purely client sided so they won't use any of the server's RAM. Actually 400MB RAM is really not enough to hold more than 40 players on your server, so in my opinion this regulation is pretty much unreasonable. Instead of limiting your resources to nearly nothing they should slightly increase the price for more RAM. But 6GB of diskspace should be enough for any server. For example: |FFS|Racing with 60 players uses 450MB.
  11. Type "/start mapmanager" in game as admin or just type "start mapmanager" into the server console. Don't forget to add the following line to your mtaserver.conf: <resource src="mapmanager" startup="1" protected="0" />
  12. https://community.multitheftauto.com/index.php?p= ... ls&id=1628 Stolen + compiled, see the comments.
  13. If it was removed, then it was removed for a good reason (probably a stolen script). Turn on your brain and learn LUA: wiki.multitheftauto.com
  14. Try to turn off your Windows Firewall, it should help. Be sure your MTA config uses port 22003 for the gameserver and 22005 for the HTTP server.
  15. Did you unblock them in your windows firewall AND your router firewall?
  16. No, it can't be used for a radar area. You have to create a ColRectangle with same position and size like the radar area and use onColShapeHit.
  17. Take a closer look at my posts, my friend, the only newb I see is you. The binary files are different at nightly.multitheftauto.com(newer) and linux.multitheftauto.com(older) but both are using the same configs and resources. The downloads you need in a list: https://nightly.multitheftauto.com/multitheftauto ... 1CE.tar.gz http://linux.multitheftauto.com/dl/130/baseconfig.tar.gz http://code.google.com/p/mtasa-resource ... p&can=2&q=
  18. My gosh, you really don't know anything about the MTA project. The newest revision is r3867 for the 1.3 branch while linux.multitheftauto.com is r3756, so there are about about ~100 fixes and updates not preset at linux.multitheftauto.com! http://code.google.com/p/mtasa-blue/source/list Take a look at https://nightly.multitheftauto.com "1.3 - Current release version", this is ALWAYS the latest stable release. EDIT: Configs are not being served by the links I've posted above, you need to download them here http://linux.multitheftauto.com/dl/130/baseconfig.tar.gz
  19. Linux.mtasa.com is outdated, use the link I've posted instead to update to the latest (stable) version.
  20. You need to upload and overwrite the following files (don't forget to unpack the .tar.gz file using WinRAR!): https://nightly.multitheftauto.com/multitheftauto ... 1CE.tar.gz Be sure you are using the latest resources: http://code.google.com/p/mtasa-resource ... p&can=2&q= ServerFFS has become very bad and is pretty much dead, I highly recommend you a new hosting solution.
  21. Reporting the -SF~> server for stealing various scripts and having faking tags in their server name. Any actions taken by MTA moderators are appreciated. IP: 46.38.236.178:22003 Owner: Majdy (who also scams people offering free servers)
