yup i quite often get this problem .... hit the get of car key and nothing happens .. . not until i almost stop the car !

this is the release of gta v for ps2 only though ...we will have to wait another year after that for the pc version !

which machine will not connect hosting machine or networked machine .. if hosting machine try connecting to the ip 192.168.0.1 which is the loopback ip address networked machine needs to connect to 192.168.0.10 plus have you disabled ase when setting up the server ase option should be off

start>run type cmd and press enter you will gt a dos box just then type ipconfig /all and post the results in here ps which machine will not connect hosting machine or networked machine .. if hosting machine try connecting to the ip 192.168.0.1 which is the loopback ip address

check your ipconfig from c:\ tell me what it says

I really think your efforts should be concentrated on completing one version before attempting to take on two projects at once ... just asking for trouble doing that. Dont get me wrong i dont think you should abandon gta3 but just wait until you at least have a bug free version of vc

It has been stated somewhere on this forum that v0.2 will not support auto aim .. ( not synced ) .... aiming has to be done using the mouse and using standard controls .. not classic

I must also say that using the version 0.1 i had NEVER been disconnected but since 0.2 i probably get disconnected once an hour but i believe this to be a problem with the server side ... it is a little frustrating though when you combine this with the usual unhandled exception errors that happen also approx once every hour ... these events are not in sync and are completely random I have a good spec computer and a fast cable connection .... but there again i have been having alot more bugs appear with the 0.2 version edit*ps no i am not using win98 lol

i think the next release should maybe just concentrate on game modes, bug fixing & lag reductions if possible especially for passenger mode

I know it says that some of the links wont work on the media section of the site .. but are any of them supposed to work ... cos if so they is broke

How about having objectives to complete Messages to random players via the pager to players stating assasination jobs on other players ( must be done using the stated method too ie: ... get a car fit with a bomb and use it to kill *player name* )should the complete the task then they get extra money and the next target The player who is to be assasinated gets a message on his screen to say you have been targeted by * assasin player name* something similar to this may already have been suggested

it isnt even a case of not being able to afford broadband ... as stated alot of regions in the uk cannot support broadband apart from sattelite and even that involved dialup uploading !!

I agree with Oyst ...... I thought one of the main points of GTA & GTAVC was that you were able to free roam and do almost anything you wanted which is consistant with most RPG's ... Surely we do not want to lose that aspect of the game and only be able to do set tasks????

pressing enter 2-3 times does work .. i always use this method and never have to re-boot i am using xp
