  3. yes but with a router only the private ip changes, the internet ip (the one you ban) stays the same. however 56k users have a different ip each connection. I have a router and my internet IP stays the same no matter what.
  4. Heh, I have never heard of this error, but who the hell uses auto-aim? ... I really really doubt this will be implemented for 0.2. Hundreds of people are having fun playing 0.1, so I cannot wait to see 0.2 and what people think of that. auto aim is the only way you can use a pad to aim, if you do not fix this then you are forcing people to use a mouse and keyboard, very uncomfortable when you could just sit back with your pad and play
  5. I noticed a fireing error in mta:vc 0.1. If you have your controls set to classic (best for using a controller) then you can use the auto aim feature on your contorller, howver, the other players do not see you shoot, so they dont die. Is this fixed in 0.2

  7. there is a problem with the server software i think should be addressed. When i launch a server on my pc i have used port 2002. However as you cant have lan traffic and internet traffic on the same port (when i do my network goes down after about half an hour) i used port 200 insted and just forwarded to 2002. So the internet users would be using port 2002 and i would use port 2000. That is all fine, however the server reports port 2000 to ase so when people try to connect, they cant as i forwarded to 2002. Can you make it so you can open the server on one port but allow it to report a different port (one you have forwarded) to ase so that people with a router firewall and forwarded ports dont have to aviod using ase?
  8. That would be a negative The "crawling" issue is actually the character playing dead, and it is still often there. It fixes itself the first time a new animation is done (jump, shooting, etc...) or when you run into the player yourself. So if you see someone on the ground playing dead, but moving, just run into them This is a huge problem, let me explain. If someone is lying on the ground, to them they may be shooting you, but they dont see your health going down because to you they are just lying their. So you get kicked from the room or called a cheater! THIS IS A BIG PROBLEM! If he starts shoothing he stands up again. Sorry but the other day i was playing mta and some guy said, stop cheating. I said im not, he said i just emptied my heavy machine gun into you and you didnt die. I just saw him lying on the ground not doing much.
  9. i think they should keep the hunter out all together cos, im sick of people shooting the weapons on their screen and then for a few mins i am not visible to them so i cant kill them. Im also sick of trying to explain to people that the weapons dont work, they always argue that they do. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR EDIT: Sorry for double post Oh and will the bus be on? It would be coool to transport everyone on the game at once or maybe just your team.

  14. i thik this sync would be a gr8 addition to MTA:VC. However i think the ADMIN for the server should be able to allow certain aspects of mta such as weather or not the hunters weapons should be activated. Then you could choose if you wanted to enter a game with hunter weapons available or not. Then everyone would have a fair choice.

  17. when the chopper moves forward containing a vehicle there is not friction, the chopper moves forwards and the othervehicle does not, when the collicon of the back of the container hits the vehicle the chopper cant move.
  18. actuall the bus holds lots of people, i dont know how many but i have held 15 in it, unfortunately to do this here would mean that the passesngers would disappear unpon entering the heli (why do you think rockstar blacked out the bus windows) they would also climb an invisible set of steps befpre entering. But it would be quite simple to make sides and a roof, to hide their invisibility, and stairs for the carrying platform, wouldn't it? Then it could serve as a transporter, if not a gun platform. hmm yeh but the passenger would fall out at average speeds, thats why i made the seat thing, this is the best use for it, i do plan to make a massive land transport however heres a new shot for ya, a few updates included here

  21. only up or down so its ok to elevate a player on a bike to let them ride off onto a building players however dont slide, but they will fall off at high speed, thats what the seats are for! Thats one of the reasons it wont be released until MTA 0.2
  22. hey guys this is my first post here, i think anyway i look at my Skycat mod one day and i thought... ...what if i welded some platforms on long supports so players could shoot from the sky. so i did, here is what i had first so player could (theiretically shoot from it in mta) I tested it with a friend in a private MTA room and it worked ok, not great but that was mostly because mta doesnt support animations yet. So i went to the site to see how 0.2 was coming along, I was interested to see that they were working on a way to access the passenger seat for players. So i build seats into the platforms so when the heli moved fast the player lifts the bars, sits down and puls the bars down again, secured for a bumpy ride. Then when the heli stops they can get off the seat and kill some peds, aerial style! so i tested the seats on a single player using the female attraction cheat to attract them to the passenger seats, here is the result. SO all we need now is MTA 0.2 HURRY GUYS I CANT WAIT!!!
