Hmm, I tried to play MTA with my other friend, via cable, and it works flawlessly!

Alright, the problem is this. I've made a simple, dedicated 1.3 server. Im quite sure my settings are correct (mtaserver + local). However, my pal IS NOT ABLE to see the server either on internet, or local area network WHEN WE ARE CONNECTED by a normal ADSL (RJ45) cable. We've also tried Hamachi, with and without cable, but still no success. Also, I opened up all the ports in my firewall MTA is using. Still, no success. Annnd if it helps, Im running the server on my laptop. Any ideas?

I cant do anything but agree with you, the RP in MTA is all about community, and the leading members of them.

I would like to somehow allow the players who contact to my server, have modified handling.cfg's. I and my friends like to mess around with handlings, but im not really sure how to allow it. I have tried to disable anti-cheat from the server.conf, but when i put my server on, and attempt to join it, i get the old message "GTA data files have been modified|Do you want to fix them now?". Im able to contact ONE server with the modified handling.cfg file, but since its RP server, its no use. Any help? Step by step answer would be much appreciated And YES, i know that there will be a modified handling feature in 1.1.

You can delete this thread, im already playing in Midnight Stunters, which is good enough server

How about sharing the IP and other information then?

Im looking for a english DD/DM/Race server, im sick of seeing lots of turkish/russian servers and not an english one. If you know one, or host one, let me know.
