  2. What is wrong with you people? This is one of the oldest Multiplayer mods out there, and has been discussed in this forum quite a bit. A great mod, and too bad Barna had to leave the community ... great things would have come from this one.

  4. This is my last post in this thread, as it is pointless for me to be here. The problem is, that Stanton has bounced around on pretty much every single MP project (except ours), as well as GTA:WO ... he doesn't know what he is doing, and that is proven time and time again. He often messages are team members begging for help and proves in all of the forums that he is not fit to lead a project. I wish you good luck, but I hope you reconsider doing things in VB if you honestly feel like you can do something different.

  7. Ransom is correct. The core version does not relate to the version of the mod we are releasing. MTA:VC 0.3 is and MTA 0.4 will be based on the 0.3 Core, NOT the 0.4 Core. The 0.4 Core will be used somewhere in the 0.5+ range, but we cannot guarantee the version in which it will be debuted.
  8. Incorrect. The new core will be somewhere in the 0.5+ range (meaning later than 0.4), but we cannot comment on which new version will include the new core. It could be 0.5 or greater (hence 0.5+).
  9. Heh, AJH You most likely will not be able to properly run an executable from only an FTP. FTP's are fine for transferring files to the specific host, but actually running them requires yourself / someone else to actually start it on the server through a shell of some sort (using telnet / ssh / etc..)
  10. As Ransom is getting at, health is only half the battle when dealing with vehicles. Vehicle damage does not in any way, shape or form relate to the amount of health a vehicle has, therefore we can reset the health to full all we want, yet the vehicle will still look to be heavily damaged. Only way to fix it is to somehow reset the model data, which we do not know how to do at this point, or destroy / create the vehicle again.

  15. Or if you enabled the Server Admin to connect to it, just do the connection and use the Shutdown Server button.

  19. I do not think you will ever be trusted / taken seriously again in this community, and I really do not see why you even bother. Say "I have deleted it", "it is not based off of YaMM" all you want, but everyone here damn well knows that you still have the code, and you are still using it (maybe only by reference) to do what you are doing. You are a sad individual and do not deserve to be attached, in any way, to the GTA modding community.
  20. YaMM was never released, so you shouldn't be playing it at all. Gotta love people that use stolen source code, hence the idiot rank.
