well if u need to have 1.0 version to play correctly this is a shame as you cant have the blood patch ect ... worst i dont have any nocd patch for 1.0 so what do i do ? THe aiming system is not accurate at all you have to shoot "around" the body to hit Please fix this its very annoying.

im sorry but I tried what u said on a local server this dont fix anything I keep appearing as a cops although I took robber occupation I use a no cd blood patch I'll check without if i can update i've tried to change occupation and stuff I still appear as a cop And the other player keep appearing as what he first choose in this case robber. To me it seems that the game is linking the player ID with the skin no matter what u do hope this will help fixing this problem

can we get a windows admin panel also ? cause atm the moment it still the old version which is not very compatible with the 0.2 server

Well I^posted on the server upload bandwidth problem still no real answer for the moment , but I think we are all far from what you stated just before the release of 0.2. With 3/4 players I'm uploading at 10/15 kbytes/s to me it was the same requirement for 0.1 so i'm a bit confused on the improvement you made.

here is the solution for me you have certainly downloaded the 0.2 client as a zip archive it is bugged !!! that's whyt kept getting this stupid crc error all the time download the client as exe file and it will be fine SO for the mta team please remove all the mirror for the zip file as it creates problems

Hi all , I'm just posting to give you a feedback after hosting for like 4h hour wth my dsl 512/128 kb connection. IT's clear that there is a problem I dont see any bandwidth improvement worse I think its worse than 0.1 now I can hardly host 3 players without lag ( the ping get weird -32000 ect .... and everyone is laggy to death ) Also the skin are not visible correctly within a occupation even after restarting the game and stuff really annoying Sometimes you drop somone's healthbar very low and a second after it is full health again ... Am I the only one with these problems ? I know this post is not really encouraging, the mta team did a great job but I wonder how you guy guessed that core 0.3.1 use 50 % less bandiwdth and how the skin trouble havent been detected before the release ? Sorry to bring so much bad news guys ,but that's the facts

Well i use a multilanguage version sure but i did copy the french.gxt file ect ... still dont work i even set up the game in english

it say some ofr ur files have been modified crc check failed great but i havent changed anything i just resinstall the game and still say the same crc check failed how can i get it to launch gtavc.exe what are the files checked ? help me i cant play at all

Since lag definition is: a time delay between 2 events, 2 states or 2 actions I dont see how u can be lag free with 900 ms you'll always have a 0.9 sec delay between ur keystroke and the effect in the game, it looks very similar to the definition above dont u think ? But I understand what is your point u tried to say that u were "lag variation" free with 900 ms which is possible.

well this is funny to read that some people can be lag free with a ping of 900 ms , it is strange cause i never notice this kind of fact in most game like counter strike, or even warcraft 3 (although war3 is fairly good for 56k user but they lag at the beginning quite often) no player can play with a ping that high there will be obviously lag with such a high ping. And ping and lag are quite linked , i dont think u can play smooth if u need 200 ms to send a ping request ,so in a game it will be even worse. Anyway i dont think we should ban the 56 k user that is for sure, the best thing would be to have low bandwidth netcode which is damn hard to make And also play on server located in or near ur country will help greatly to have a better connection

my solution to this is: create or provide the proper handling.cfg create a svf file with it and put it in ur installer and make mta check if the crc is the same using the svf file what do u think about this ?

interesting point eeos but u did not search well on this subject or i dunno ? cause there is already a challenger of R* mafia game dont u know it ? it owns gta vc on the shooting gameplay , its very much like max payne but without the bullet time stuff. But the driving gameplay is less fun than gta cause u can drive only 1940's cars and stuff . Try it if u dont know it u'll like it i'm sure

the only real question that can be asked is why does the progress bar arent growing for like 2 weeks as it seems to go well ? do u guys have already set the features of the 0.2 or is it still evolving ? u talked about occupation that's great but there won't be team ? And about game mode people gave many idea are some of them going to be included (the easy to implement one of course) ?

how about the "Same IP is already connected to this server" problem at the moment i cant play with my friend using internet connection sharing but i'm not sure if this is a global problem or just for a few server ? Will it work better in 0.2 ? Also i've noticed that its really hard to have a proper connection on ur own server (localhost) u need like 10 attempt at least to stay connected

Ok u want a real voice on IP appz that's works with mta : http://www.teamspeak.org far better than roger wilco cause it is real voice on IP but a bit more complex but the sound is great by default it is gsm quality But u'll need a high upload bandwidth cause mta takes much.

terminator is a really nice idea if this is to be done adding a terminator skin is really important but i dont how easy is it to implement ,u guys will tell us A few idea to add to this mods: -terminator got the harley bike ( I dont remember the name ) -Terminator is Limited to maybe only one or 2 guns ( including the Gattling Gun for sure and maybe Stubby Shotgun ) -when terminator takes shot he dont fall (dunno of this is makable ) -Team terminator there is 1 temrinator in each team each terminator as a target in the opposite team ect ... u got the idea bingo one idea just came up : Paparazzi mods one team are paparazzi with camera their is goal is to take pix of some NPC in different places other team are bodyguard to the NPC their goal is to prevent the paarazzi from taking picture it is a raw idea let me know what u think Assasin the Président : Very much like the JFK murder One team are terrorist their goal to kill the président ( in this team there will be one or 2 snipers only(task to shot at the president) the other member of the team will have to make sure that the president car will stop at the good spot for sniper ) Other team wil have to protec the president ( there will be one president in this team the others will be bodyguard , also the president must follow a predifined trail in the map (just like checkpoint but with not time limit ) ) president can ony be killled by sniper and some other rules ... also raw idea it needs more thinking tell me if u like then I can brainstorm on it a bit

arf bad news u told me so if i got ur message right animation is the hardest task to implement ? what about the new netcode ? can u tell us some of the improvement or new feature ? we saw the new chat system on the screen but is it working better ?(no more msg loss ? , no more typing issue with azerty keyboard ?)

sync at leat the walking anim smurfing is just ridiculous , btw the new feature looks very nice but we need to have the looking direction et walking sync to play it at 100% fun ( especially for shooting stuf but i'm sure u got the idea )
