so basically then you're screwed, being in the middle of nowhere with no car whatsoever? Not good, imagine falling off the bike, then seeing it blink out of existance. Another scenario - you get out of your car to lay down some heavy fire on an enemy, then turn to jump back in the car for a getaway before his mates nail you, uh-oh! The car's gone! You're screwed. Could you not implement a timer so that vehicles stay synced for a short period after the player exits them? Maybe a minute or two.

I downloaded the passenger vid and was going to convert to Divx for you but, like EagleEye said - "its only 4 seconds and i can only see a guy standing next to the car" Are we missing something here guys? Because that's all that happens, he walks about 3 foot along the side of a car which appears to be empty...

There is a tool that removes the flashing "REPLAY", try searching some of the GTA mod sites.

That's a completely different program to VCMM Scorpion. It's pretty good, but VCMM beats it on ease of use from the installer's point of view. However, GTA Mod Installer is easier to use for car creators. They both have advantages and disadvantages.

I've seen a few people make this mistake, so I'll clear up the confusion. Static IP adresses do not change. Static, as in stationary, as in not moving or changing. Dynamic IP's do change. Dynamic, as in moving, changing. Sometimes, but not always, changed everytime the user connects. Sometimes changed after a set period of time. Quite simple really isn't it?

But how does this stop cheaters? I'll repeat myself - they will just use the unaltered version...

That's what thought you meant, it only does Windows media video though doesn't it? I've just tried Screen Recorder, not very impressive.. (BTW, FRAPS records VIDEO & AUDIO!) I'm assuming from the fact that Screen Recorder tells you that you're not registered and you're starting a 29 day trial, it's NOT free either. When I tried to record a bit of Vice playing it recorded the desktop instead... The only way it might have beaten FRAPS was if it let you have free choice of recording codec, but no, out of the dozen or so codecs I have installed, about 5 were available. None of them the good ones either (Xvid, DivX) just crappy old Microsoft Video and Indeo. No regrets here for spending the 20 quid for FRAPS 2.0

Is there really any point to this? Non-cheaters just won't use a trainer... Cheaters will use one that works...

You'll get much better quality for a smaller file size compressing to an .avi using an MPEG4 format like Xvid or DivX5.
