  1. Those who've ever RPed knows what I'm talking about. A realistic Area Talk system, making use of commands such as /s(hout) /W(hisper) and /o(ut of character) talk. The final /o being visible to all players. Anyone up for the task?
  2. Silentlink

    /save command

No, .AMX files are from the scripting language PAWN that SA-MP uses. MTA uses Lua.
  3. UPDATE We've updated the forums a lot with some documentation, character registration and a Development Journal. We've also acquired a ventrilo, server and website host! What we need now is more players and then some scripters, so PLEASE: If you know even a little bit of Lua, contact us! You won't regret it, we promise.
  4. That's great. I see you've already registered on our forums, so please make a post or contact us via PM.
  5. Thanks for the support, we couldn't agree more. But as a matter of fact then it is quite different from the everyday RPG. Ours is way more... What should I call it.. RP! It focuses less on scripts and more on the players imagination.
  6. Frank, do you use MSN? If you do, then add [email protected]. If you don't then send an e-mail to that address so we can talk.
  7. Yeah, I must agree. We've had tremendous progress today! Thanks for all your support!
  8. No one can edit the script itself from the server AFAIK.
  9. Is this one of those, "I say no to drugs, but they come to me" things? Nah, just kidding. Format your PC.
  10. We'll be grateful if you do *thumbs up* And thanks for the nice comment.
  11. Important Information! The first version of the story is posted on our forums! Link here: http://appokalypsis.forumotion.com/rules-and-server-information-f1/the-story-t1.htm
  12. If someone is adept at Lua then they should read the Appokalypsis thread in General San Andreas discussion. We're in need of a scripter. But, back on topic: It's not possible (at least that's the idea I've got?) to create NPC's in MTA as of yet.
  13. Great to have positive replies already, And I've contacted Karl by e-mail. Thanks for the interest, and I hope you'll join us in the future!
  14. I sincerely agree with this quite amusing, yet still honest, attempt at preventing the banning of a file which is crucial to the survival of a species of gamers that are, though not widely recognized, quite widespread throughout the universe of computer-gaming. Holy Christ in his undergarments, that was fun to write!
  15. I confirm. Please note that I'm busy writing the background story for this. Dedicating myself 100%. ADDED: THE FIRST POST IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE, SO PLEASE CHECK BACK OFTEN!
  16. Yes, my Son. It is the truth that you speak.
  17. what are you intending to do on ur knee's . give them something back in return for the mod! How'd you know?
  18. *gets down on his knees* I believe...
  19. Yacht Sie Masz! I'm Jonas, and I felt like introducing myself after being a lurker on these forums for ages. Checking every day and all. I'm Danish, and that's all you need to know right now I think. So, Hi!
  20. This ain't a rant, complaint or anything. I had personally guessed for 20th of October, but it didn't happen. And in eight days, GTA IV should be released. Thanks to the delay, the MTA team has more time on their hands to make sure more people ain't leaving. Well, it's obvious: Once IV is out, a lot of people are gonna go /wrist if MTA isn't out, and post stuff like "we h8 u cuz we want ur gaem out naw!!11". But, really. Just think about it.
  21. Fantastic! I am quite the Lua coder myself, so I'm eager to see when the public will be able to script.
