yeah this would get you hired at any game company hoping to move into online multiplayer, so im sure they have thought about that once or twice offtopicness, dont u know how to make ur signature work right? want some help with that?

...that MTA DM will allow users (when its finished) to not only use custom car models (as is already implemented) but also to use custom textures for player models, for weapons, and for basically anything SP modded, and then assuming that we hypothetically say we can have our servers with: A. Custom vehicles from rims to body B. Custom map from ground up C. Custom player models from feet to head D. Custom firearms from butt to trigger and basically im saying instead of playing normal SA ur playing SA with a lamborghini murcielago, with a Gold plated Desert eagle .50 at your side, and your driving through a halfway accurately created NEW city, instead of boring SAMP stuff and everything is awesome. this is how I envision MTA DM, hopefully when all is done this is how we will be rewarded for our long wait

yeah if you have a map pack, go ahead and zip em and send em to [email protected], and thanks for the responses! ransom ill check the (unbeleivebly slow) MTA center for urs, anyway, keep em coming, the more maps i can get the better

So ive just started a server, and im trying to find the best maps in everyone opinion, problem is that the MTA center is SLOWWWW as all whatnot, so if i knew the names of good maps, i could just look em up anyway, we take DD, races, and fun stuff, just whatever you think are good, and the more the merrier soooo, what are the best maps?

I followed the wiki on win32 installation and setup and my bro kobra set up the whole deal on his (faster and better than my) pc and ran the whole dos window deal after tweaking and changing (correctly) the config file...right on. so the problem is that were on a wireless network in our house so i logged into the wireless router and port forwarded his computer 22003 22136(or was it 22126? whatever it was i put it in correctly) and 44003 so it would function properly, and im 87% sure it worked allright and i dropped the firewall to zero protection on his pc, the router, and hoped for the best, and doesnt it just figure that from my pc i cant see the server from the list (possibly cuz its from my main IP) and cannot connect to the server through localhost (does that work from my pc to his on a network???) or directly to his ip to port 22003 or 22126, and after a few hours of trying, and retrying i come here to beg for help, now heres what information i can provide: ISP = roadrunner windows versions = win xp pro hours of frustration caused = >3 server public IP = 65.24.124.238 server public name = war / area 69 wireless router = Motorola sbg900 other info = ask if ya need ne thing thanks for anything you can inform me of i dont know and again ill say i have ALREADY read the wiki and a few other documents MANY times, so dont try to link me to them, as i been there seen that. also note that you wont see the server in the list, its not running currently, but perhaps ill attempt it again tonight and try my luck EDIT OK perhaps it works now, i dont know, why doesnt someone go check for a server called war / area 69 for me and tell me anyway its running in our local network but something might be stopping it from being on the server list, i dunno

perhaps u could make people pay for something like a diamond forum member, and by purchasing this upgraded account u get inside information and can take part in beta however the beta isnt public...its for high forum users and QAteam, see profit for mta, no copyright infringment ;D

lol well i think he asked for the DM to be like SAMP and I strongly dissagree...why would we want another SAMP when we can have a much better moddable MTADM

I bought my xbox 360 with solely halo3 beta and GTA IV in mind (bought crackdown JUST for H3 beta invite) and i have owned every single GTA title (excluding PSP) out and will most definetely purhase (and preorder) GTA IV for my box of x

go into the cd and find the shortcut or executable that directly starts the install...perhaps...otherwise i dunno what to do

erm...well im not exactly sure about that...never done it...try and install on ur second assuming your first is where your original install is

lol you acctually put the mta icon in there...lolz i just opened ol' handy dandy paint and swapped some pics from google images and copy and pasted letters already in the windows to draw out HALO for steam

no, Liberty City was BASED on New York. If it WAS New York, they would have called it New York. In GTA4 they look more accurate to New York, but looking at the trailer you see the words Liberty City everywhere, hinting its still Liberty City, and not New York. Shutup, you knew what I meant. actually i couldn't tell what you meant, because theres people out there who think GTA4 is GTA:New York well erm the statue of liberty is there...so UN-officially its gta new york...but officially its still liberty city

so no official word from devs about the legitimacy of this? this is real? huh is it? i hope not Anyway...look halo on steam!
