  3. alrighty, well considering most of my close friends are going to be involved, i have to say that alot of the stuff im asking for is basically "possible" for us to do, but i want skills like those of Cleric for modelling, because i suck at it , and more importantly texturing, because i cannot texture for shit, i can take pictures and make "realistic" textures, but im not good with much else really. but maybe you could send me a message with your email and ill keep you informed of the situation

Even if they do end up makin a mod for IV i would be really impressed if they could acctually use to Blue core with it, being that the blue core was basically designed with the GTA III/Vice/SA engine in mind, but the team had said many times the blue core is very versatile, perhaps i underestimate the MTA team and it would be easily converted to work for IV, that would be cool, custom maps and cars and stuff only a few months after IV came out! but i wont get my hopes up ;P
  9. well poro there wont necessarily be pedestrians, however i assure you playing with real people is more fun (and the idea behind this mod) so go ahead and get a copy of SA for PC and give MTA DM a try when it comes out!

I agree, i don't want you guys to think i WOULDN'T like the devs from MTA to work on a project for IV, no i would love that they moved on to the next in this (hopefully) infinite series , but im saying that chances of them being able to apply what they have for SA into a new engine, seems a little, unlikely

Hmmm i so want to agree with you, but at the same time the MTA team isn't really the kind of people to give an estimate for release...neither is that "other" mod team, so i dunno, they suprised me by releasing but i don't follow that mod like i do this one, so i wouldn't expect them to give a date, but i would like to know what were looking at here, i mean usually these kinds of things take time, and cant be put on a calender date, because its just unpredictable what problems they might encounter, so don't lose interest but don't get your hopes up either
  12. honestly, the chances of MTA making a mod for GTAIV are incredibly low, for one, its already gonna have multi player, and for two, its a totally new platform, a totally new engine, and an entirely different game, in fact IV will be so different from SA that the BLUE engine would basically not work at all with IV, being that its not gonna be on PC, (for a while) and its not gonna be without MP anyway, so whats the point of even discussing it this early on in IV production, while the team has yet to finish the current version...seems pointless to me...

    im not totally sure if your trying to prove your innocent or if your tryin to prove someone is guilty or what, but whatever is going on it does appear 508317 was used in this video at a couple points, but it could be lag, its unusual how the dirt bike "gets air" after coming to a complete stop (being hit by a car and spinning out) then going up a hill and ramping? seems nearly impossible lag, anyway I use the m0d everyone hates (i have 2 installations of SA, one with and one without a m0d installed, cuz obviously you cant use mods in MTA or SAMP) so im well aware how s0 works, and that does look like it...just my opinion

  17. nah, why add multiplayer to a multiplayer game? and if so, it would be ENTIRELY different than what the developers are used to (the GTA III Engine) and would kind of be a difficult change for the team, but anyway back on topic, yeah GTA IV will indeed take the attention span of many many MTA players, however, thats like a de-n00bifier because the people who only have a single train of thought and cant think of possibly playing TWO games on the same day, those are n00bs who shouldnt be around Minge'ing up our servers for DM so, really, let them stick on GTA IV for a while, so we can get more fun from DM

  19. how are you gonna say dont talk about the other mod then talk openly about it for a minute...lol anyway, as for the player limits, or car limits were talking about, i would hope that were able to enjoy having plenty of players(actors?) and plenty of vehicles (well synched too!) for our online play, but like we can do anything as just part of the community other than throw our two cents in, so im saying my two cents is out there, and it says make the limit atleast 50, but not an outragous number (im talking players not vehicles) so were in good shape for a crash free, yet populated server. hey a whole post in this section without the letters S A and M P in one
  20. well it seems they can get the textures from source games (simple to do) however it doesn't appear they can actually take the level itself (they had to remake it) and i am just thinking out loud, not that we could accomplish that, no, but it would be nice wouldn't it

  22. really wouldnt it be great if using the source SDK we could make levels for MTA that are "totally" custom, including textures and object collisions...i somehow doubt thats possible to import the Hammer editors files to MTA tho, and the way paroXum did it is he used the textures only (i think) and then just used objects to make the level using those textures from it, hence its not an exact copy and doesnt infringe on valves maps, (not that they would care, it wouldnt be the first time) so anyway, wouldnt it be great to have a far more advanced editor for MTA (source SDK) ? i think so
