I have a similar PC with you, and I'm using ASUS 6600GT also (256MB PCI-E). So far I have no problem like this in MTA, but usually this is caused by overheating of your graphic card. Try to open your PC casing while you run it. If it still appears, maybe its some other issues. Thanks Note : Actually your system is not very fast for san andreas, mine is Intel P4 3.2GHz, 1GB RAM (Kingston, but forgot which 'type'). When I play GTA:SA with full graphic settings, it also lags sometimes. Well, now I am waiting for 8600 Ultra (the price seems to be around 200USD). Its a lot better than my 6600GT, and most importantly, its DX10 compliant card

The letters are part of the street sign objects (afaik), the only way to change them would be to change the texture. So you just change your own texture, but for other people, its still the same because they didnt 'download' your texture. Thanks

Oh, I think this is the MTA:SA R1.1.1 version server. My server is 1 rank lower than yours, but its the #1 in MTA:SA R1.0 server because there are only maximum of 30+ players but in MTA:SA R1.1.1, there are hundreds of players. Yes, now comfirmed it. If I'm a silly admin, I already banned him . Its really, really a big work for the admins because everyday got a few cheaters waiting for ban. I think I'm the admin that banned most players in MTA:SA R1.0 Thanks

If you are playing MTA:SA R1.0, you probably know how am I. Ok, now I wanted to ask, is it 'legal' to fly 'backwards' with AT400? I found a player do that and he tells me do it like this: 1. Take a AT400 and when the 'speed' is getting low, press 'down' to fly 'backwards' I tried it but cannot. Is this cheating? Imagine you just like looking at the TV with a plane and you 'rewind' the tape and see the plane flying behind and not in front -.- Thanks

Today when I logged in, I kick a few cheaters within 5 minutes........so I hope at least 1 new update for the anti-cheat because it was really serious. Yup, the cheat usually have health, speed, teleport, airbrake, flying etc. So, with the cheat, you are almost at the 'god mode'. Thanks

Yup, the cheat maker are really good at doing it, but why don't they do anti-cheat? At my server, someone suggests that make the server available for vote for kicking people, it sounds good, but if there are a few cheaters and they are friend, they still can kick you . So, its a long war against cheater and anti-cheater like the medicine, the new disease keep coming out. Same as here, the new cheat keeping coming out. Thanks Note : JonChappell's thoery is good too

The most useful way is to update the anti-cheat, or install a software that can detect the cheat and auto kick or ban. But this needs to do ALL THE TIME, the cheat will also update, so this also need to update. Thanks

coz: You are wrong, if you mute, better than ban because they will be auto-unmuted once they reconnect. If you freeze, they still can move because of the cheat's work. Thanks
