  1. you can, just swim underwater and dont come back up and you will soon drown true, and that's the most realistic... i too think moving down the ship objects is a possibility too. But wait about flooding the los santos drains? That'd be cool, and that does require the level to be raised (although you could use the ipl2map tool, and massmove it).
  2. I think MTA will just throw you an error. And im not sure about this; but i think the SDK wont be in the first release.

  4. save your map on a regular base. the error "couldn't find core dump file to send" is not causing your maps to dissappear, the game simply crashes for unknown reasons (unstability, bugs in the codes or whatever) (gta itself does that 2, although that is less often) the error reporter... that should send or do something else the core dump file, which it (apperently) cannot find...

  6. the person above me is right... but what i'd like to see (what wont come) is a list of feature's to be added... only problem is: that list (with some "Feature X"'s) will change... some noobs will go whining [if thats spelled ok] that another thing has been added. [last thing on the list should be "Bug fixes - can take a long long time!"]

  8. Thats very cool... the script looks a bit more complicated compared to the others, so I'll read it through tommorow... The movie is great, it shows a lot more then the Christmas movie did. 50 Levels: (a/b) x% Is added by the script and shows how far you [and others] are right?
  9. can't you just delete an object when it's z-position reaches zero, or (if it stops by itsself) when the z-position doesn't change anymore (or just slightly)

I think I got enough time to do it for you tonight thats what i got until now lol i just got a great idea... using "a certain cheat program" (don't worry i only cheat on cheating allowed) i can find it easier whahaha too easy --: dont know the cam direction but that's easy to find out now DO NOT POST THE NAME OF THE CHEAT I USED TO RETRIEVE THIS INFORMATION...

  12. i once made a checkpoint that was very clearly visable from the no1 to spectate position, i will try tracing the position sometime later this week or weekend (if nobody has done it by then)
  13. i can think of a way doing that in race map editor... put down tanks to shoot (block them from moving) and let hydra's be the flying thingies... only hydras would shoot at eachother (to block them from doing that you will have to wait for DM i think) and people and tanks would be extremly bored... and probably never hit... with scripting you could make it more fun maybe... by making scripts that will teleport you back to the beginning when you hit the end or something like that. that could give people in tanks a lot of fun... cause they get to retry every 30 seconds or so... and hydra's would be flying pretty long... one question about this though: if we would do this, and teleport the hydra's back to the beginning, would they keep their speed when teleported?
  14. i think you can, the team has probably made functions to spawn objects, and you can lower their height the same way its done with the snow.

  17. unless lua knows/sees the diffrence between 0 and 0.0000000 i think you're right. besides, if my teleport 'script' (rather to be called a very small code) will work with the first release, you could try it, and teleport to any position with either x, y, or z as 0 also the correct usage of outputChatBox would be: [lua]outputChatBox ( getClientName ( player ) .. " was teleported." , 255 , 43 , 43)[/lua] right? btw sorry for asking so much time that could be spend on development
  18. Talco is right, downloading the scripts give me a "404 - Not Found" error. Also, for viewing the comments: you cannot see them, but they are copied when you select the whole page .   19. Ok, little question about: [lua]bindKey ( player, "i", "down", "modeIO" )[/lua] What happens, when you have already bound the I-key to something in the DM or SP options? For example, if I shoot with it (no I don't, but it is just an example), will I both shoot and show the cursor, or only do one of these? Also if I replace [lua]"down"[/lua] with [lua]"up"[/lua] the function modeIO (from the script) will be executed when I release the key, right?

The game does it, we wouldn't show any fake footage in an official video. no but i could imagen that it is a message to the viewer (such as the "Its time to deliver the presents." of which i don't think its ingame, but that is not in the middle of the screen... so its not a good comparisation [spell?])
  21. Very cool movie... Can't wait to play DM One question though... the "JHXP has the flag!", does the game (probably script) show that, or did you edit it in? (personnaly i think the game does it... which would be very good... but I just want to be sure)

  23. do you, or do you not, get to see the splash screen? if you do, there are multiple solutions, of which i know only one, using the newest version (edit: of MTA ) also make sure you have a legal version of SA without a no-cd crack.
