read it closely, it says playback, not a burner, meaning itll play burnt dvd's , not burn them and this really doesnt impress me, im an xbox fan, considering its technology passes ps2's by a long shot, espcially with eVoX(Which ill be getting shortly)

i found a good way of connecting Load MTA BUT DONT CONNECT Run GTA3: Start MultiTheftAuto When you see the credits, Alt Tab Now Load ASE and get an IP and connect Now ALT Tab and wait for bout 10 seconds. (I Suggest not double clicking a server in ase, theres a bug that changes the server box back to 1.0, load mta manually, just copy/paste the ip) Its worked for me, but if not, try clicking send game req. As the manual said, SendGameReq is suppose to be done if ur first person on the server

blokker, with all the lag issues in mta, and as much bandwidth voice chat uses, shouldnt the voice chat wait till mta is the best it can be as far as lag issues?

um other topic disappeared. so make new for those who dled gta3(lazy asses, buy it), you can now upgrade to 1.1 through a patch i found on a site http://www.please don't post links to warez updates.com jus install it to gta3 folder i guess (my friend made the installer so i dont know what its like, havnt dled it) it should basically replace ur gta3.exe with a 1.1, nocd cracked one so now mta will work fine for u

stupid ass noobs cant even read a fucking manual, it said clearly IF YOU WISH TO UNINSTALL MTA, YOU MUST USE THE LAUNCHER AND PRESS START SP, THEN YOU MAY UNINSTALL MTA anytime ur messing with beta or any new type of software READ THE MANUAL Most time there is facts YOU NEED TO KNOW its common sense, guys we should have even told him how to fix it, and made him reinstall...

the gui needs heavy work for graphical wise, but its ok one time i put flash into my app, made the bg like wild as hell, use that as an idea

One thing i dont like bout the ded server is the dos window, if i wanted a friend to run it, i know it would irritate them to keep the window open so i made a app to hide , show, run and close the server window. to the system tray... if ur running a win32 dedicated server, i suggest using this app. its nice and neat, jus right click place in ur gta3 folder so it can find Dserver.exe

Old MTA wouldnt matter because its in another folder...

First, for .3, Make it where u can send a game request by pushing a button, like f12, so u dont have to alt tab Put the chat back in, like press m to chat, enter to send For future updates: Use clickteams Patchmaker, this will be ALOT smaller file than a full reinstall. Instructons, Keep a folder with old version(i.e .3) and then the new folder with newer version(.4 mayb) Use Patch maker and choose the folders, patchmaker finds the differences in the files, and only patches the changes, instead of a complete new exe, this would help us 56k users out alot. Then, Seperate Downloads. Dont bunch them all in one file, why would you dl linux server if you have windows, put seperate files to dl, and dl if u want it. Ie, Launcher in 1, mta in another, servers seperate u get the drift. And last nut def not least. ZIP THE INSTALLERS!! lol took me 45mins to dl mta.3!!

thats kinda gay, so much alt tabbing can cause the game to crash
