i dont have a problem w/ echos but i did have a prob of my snd card being gay and repeating the last sound it made. fixed temp when i restarted. but i have smp thats prolly y... i fiex it by setting the interrupt affinity to proc0, but i dont think this is wat ur talkin bout

ill take lag too. but i dont think it will lag that much if it does a lil crc check before the client joins the game

maby u can use sum kind of checking when the client is conneting to the server. like what bf1942 does

i had a similar glitch. when i was crusin, sum1 jacked my car but i didnt get pulled out neither did i move 2 the passenger seat. its like i became him for a while. he drove around and after a while i pressed "enter" (the key 2 enter/exit cars) and i walked out of the car and then i pressed it again and pulled him out, then i ran him over multiple times. wierd glitch

record ur gta3 game to a vcr? that would give u a loss of quality. alot. fraps is better. it recorded exactly wat i saw. it wasnt blurry. using a vcr would make ur vid blurry.

i like the idea of bf1942 spawn points. 2 fix the camping thing, you should make a anti-camper timer. like, after u spawn u cant die for a certain amount of time (like a few seconds). so ull have a chance to get away form your spawn point

yes, but usually there around 900 MB uncompressed, after compressing they get smaller (under 20 megs) i just dont c how those dvd-rips from south park i have that r dvd-quality can be 100 megs, o well

try loadin fraps after gta3. start ur game and alt-tab to ur desktop and load fraps

wats the best codec 2 compress the movies to? i use DivX5 but i want to know if there a codec that pax more quality in less space (on mine, around 2 mins is 12 megs)

i think fraps totally kix ass. i set it to 30 fps and didnt mess w/ my settings in gta3 and when it was recording it did slow down a little but it was bearable. when i saw wat it recorded, it looked like there was no frame skip. its just a lil fast but i think i can slow it down w/ premire

i have winxp, before, i never ever got bsods and almost nothing crashed and it never froze. but ever since i got smp, bsod are everywhere! if i dont set the affinity of a 3d game to a single proccessor, it gives me a bsod after 45mins, and i must restart my computer after playing games or ill get a bsod after a while. im never getting smp ever again
