Providing this mod doesn't actually use the inbuilt multiplayer system, then it should stay online. FiveM using GTA:O may have been a bit of a stupid idea.

Have the MTA Team setup an official Discord server? I saw an unofficial one on a topic a few weeks back and joined it, but somebody speaks once every few days and it's full of weird bot scripts. Would be an idea to get one going, especially as it can link to IRC.

setWeaponProperty ( id, "std", "maximum_clip_ammo", tonumber(ammo) ) Should resolve the issue, though I've never come across a "non-convertible string". What does the value for 'ammo' look like at runtime?

The mentality of younger users wanting to be admins/staff has always been the case, in fact it's more along the lines of human nature. A verification system really removes the element of freedom that MTA has.

The age-old complaint has been that Lua is out of date, I remember everybody used to want 5.2. Like Dutchman101 said, it can't really ever happen because we're so dependent on Lua being exactly as-is.

There are various ways MTA can communicate with external applications and systems, for example using callRemote, using files, or an SQL database.

And I'm yet to play on a server that has a custom GUI (DX) system that includes all of the comprehensive shortcuts and mechanisms akin to Windows, for example pressing Shift+Page Up to select all characters to the left.

Well....yeah....um, replace your gta3.img file with the original one provided with GTA:SA. You may have to reinstall the game to achieve this.

The folder should be named 'modules' (lower-case), however I doubt that will make a difference. If you're using Windows be sure to use the .dll version, and not the .so version. Moreover, you can use the 'loadmodule' command from console to try and manually load it.

The most obvious method of doing a 'Forgotten my password' feature would be: From the MTA server, use callRemote to trigger a PHP script From the PHP script, send an email containing a link (to another PHP script) to the user's email address When the link is clicked, using the other PHP script, reset the password

MTA 0.X has extremely limited scripting capabilities; it doesn't even have client-side scripting.

Do you have a firewall in place (i.e. Windows Firewall)? This might be the underlying issue.
