  1. I get the apparent freeze, can play but not connected as chat and checkpoints dont work. This happens in latest version. amd 64 3500+ 2gb geil value ram asus v9999 GE sb audigy 2 zs This happens when mate hosts and i join him. Happens randomly usualy during long races so is annoying when i have to force disconect and reconect to get back in to mates server (not dedicated). He also has these freezes and we also hate the console kicked bug. It happens alot this one too and even kicks the host lol which we both find annoying.
  2. Most of the time i play with mate and he hosts it on his comp. We patched to 1..1..1 and this is supose to fix the issue but it doesnt. The server kicks me, him others off now and again and is very annoying. Please can you take out the server kicking ppl feature as lets say for instance im on a 255 point map, im 1st im about 200th cp, the server kicks me, i rejoin and back at start and this is highly annoying. Alot of the times as well, the server will loose connection to host resulting in you "thinking" ur still playing but aint, u can drive and all that but ur no longer able to chat with others and no longer in the race. This happens frequently. While the other problem above is more annoying as it kicks u for not responding or whatever reason. Please fix these problems. Thanks.
  3. Well we like long 250 checkpoint maps and making our own maps. We have on the odd occasion played default maps but rarly. We enjoy maps we make cos we know what the other likes. Anyhow thats besides the point. So any chance of freeing up object limits a bit and let the person who runs the server make his own mind up to add/use maps that have more than 250 objects? Set a condition in the server file perhaps?
  4. Well i assume object limit is 250 as when i add more (my map i last did had 275 objects in) the map was missing sections like a ramp here a section there. When i took 25 off the 275 object map it was stable as in nothing disappeared when testing the map. So even tho i could do 200 1 map 200 in another and combine in wordpad i fear i would still get the missing objects problems.
  5. But most of my maps are just for 2 people, me and a friend and we have top spec pc's so object limit could be increased for my maps so me and mate can enjoy more objects on the maps. Btw sorry about search. I dont post here much really or visit so just post them straight away my suggestions. Dont get me wrong btw, good to have limit so performance aint a problem for the majority, but what about the minority?
  6. Yep i would like to request a higher object limit as i was making a destruction derby map of my own and found i couldnt do as much as i wanted to as i would have liked to. Change from 250 to about 350 would be great. Hope request can be filled for next race release.
  7. A very much requested feature i would like is to have a swear word filter embeded in the ingame chat system. I really hate the people that feel the need to swear constantly. Is there anything that can be done? Perhaps code it the way some forums have swear word filter system? Also possibility to block people using ingame chat such as say person x i want to block from showing up on my chat window in top corner, can a command be made to block all text chat from that person so i dont recieve all the foul language from ppl so i have a clean chat window with sensible and mature people. As it has to be said, mta online brings the most swearing i have ever seen on a online game. And really doesn't make me want to play with public servers much hence why i play with selected people like friends i know who dont swear and call each other. If some protective measures could be worked into next release and hopefully most servers use said release then perhaps the whole mta gaming community will have a much pleasenter experiance playing this great mod.
  8. Would it be possible to play the cop messages that cop cars usually get now and again, alot more so on ur cb ur contantly getting cop reports etc... Might fill gap of the no radio stations. Btw i do also miss radio when in cop cars. But i supose we can use wmp/winamp and use the ripped music from the dvd of gta sa whcih is legal i heard.
  9. Just some ideas i had, sorry if they have been voiced before but i dont post often and just wanted to post this quickly. 1. Spawn picker. This idea is if lets say we have 1 spawn point for fugitive or someone who must be placed somewhere away from other spawns. And you then have other spawns in one place somewhere for example police. Then i would really like a menu when race starts to allow people to pick which spawn point to use, if they could be named and choosen by name and not "spawn1" etc that would be ever more helpfull. 2. Spawn limiter This is kinda a idea to go with above. In creating a map i would like the possibility to have 1 person only spawn at one spot (robber) and everyone else can spawn at the other spawn points. So lets say im making a map. I make a spawn point for robber near a jail. I want to name that spawn point to "robber start" and i want only 1 person allowed to spawn there per map session can be anybody like 1st person to pick can use that spawn so not limited to one person always such as respawns... And for cops in a police building with carpark i can create several spawn points there and name them cop 1-10 for instance. Let players choose which spawn point to be at so they can choose 1-10 for cop placements. Reason i ask for above is that i made a map and its cop vs robber, and me and my friend really dont like it when say cop kills robber then robber spawns using respawn as a robber or cop and we have a rule that when robber or cop dies the other dies too and the above suggestions is to prevent 2 players being the same spawn/player type. As when lets say player one spawns as cop and player 2 was cop and dies as per rules and respawns as cop again this can be infuriating as the robber as to keep using kill command till he spawns as robber again. 3. Spawn points set to a specific starting vehicle during map making. this is to remove need of car pickups during start of a race so you use the car ur given. Lets say in my cop vs robber map, i have 5 cops and 1 robber. I want 5 cops to have similar cop cars so i would with this suggestion made, to create spawn points that when map is loading and starting that spawn uses a specific vehicle i choosen pre map, so lets say spawn 1-3 is normal cop cars for ls. and other 2 can be swat cars. The above 3rd suggestion would be very good for map makers like myself who dont want a load of pickups about the map so robber could theoretically use one of the other teams pickups. Pickups in general for vehicle change are fine for most maps but certain "role play" such as cop vs robber maps of my own would benefit from this spawn as a specific car function. 4th Time limits - I would like some maps to have no time limit, say for small maps with friends either on a lan or good friends on net connection server. And we like 1 map alot and want to play it till we are bored then we would prefere a vote map change instead of forced map change via time limit. 5th Respawn mode all change. This respawn selection would when in map when a vote for respawn all change is initiated or however you mta would like to do it. Would effecivly swap players role if it was a team based map. 6th minimap hud markers. Can we set a spawn point to use a specific colour for that player on the mini map. This will be good for team games such as north vs south or cop vs robbers. As i was playing cop vs robber game recently and everyone on minimap was cyan colour so it was hard to see who was cop and who was robber by using the mini map. This is a high priority for my maps so would be most welcomed if implimented. 7th pickup for weapons to be mounted on cars? Car weapons. Use machine gun or rockets from hunter chopper and mount them via pickup on a cars bonnet? Is this possible as i was thinking it could act a bit like the nitro boost pickup but instead add a hardpoint to front of car and then you get a machine gun or a rocket depending on pickup then we can have car war fights. Ammo can be time based like nitro or have set amount or use pickups for extra ammo or then again just get another weapon pickup for more ammo. 8th drive by shooting from car, if walking gun fights is too much to sync or whatever can driveby shooting be done a bit easier as you dont have to do much for sync of the animation i would have thought compared to free roaming person with gun shooting. 9th Ingame server browser. Can we have a choise to browse instead of it auto browsing. Now i know its weird ask but hear me out. Now i would liek a favouites tab added next to browser tab and so when i click on a server i like i bookmark it to favourites (like ie or ff) and when i click ingame browser i get black section and two tabs at top, browse for servers or browse favourites. Now browsing for favourites should be quick and easy to pick when loaded as you wont have loads of favourites, i wouldnt anyhow. Just 5 good servers that i like. Reason i ask it takes ages (more than 10 seconds) to load up the big list of servers and then i gotta search through them all. Oh btw on browse for server section you could make some filters for instance, filter empty server so only ones with someone playing will appear, ping filters etc.... Region filter would be very welcome to.. 10th Team damage: If say u have 1 team vs another 10 each or whatever, then i would like my map to prevent team mates hurting each other so in other words team mates are invunerable to each other. To do this im thinking define each spawn point to a specific team like a or b or use numbers. I often want this when playing team maps. Using server config file i supose you enable or disable team damage as well. -- Well thats it for ideas for now. Hope they can be looked at and thought upon to see if viable and usable for next release of the car race mod. Tryed sa-mp beta and didnt like the on foot version of gta sa mp, i prefere stuck in cars gamemodes its simplier and fun i think.

  12. Like massive hosting sites with files, i supose u can sort into whats most downloaded? Maybe that will get passed the voting issue. I have 1 vote i never asked for on one of my maps so there is some true votes out there. Tho i do agree it should perhaps close and be pruned for bugged or incomplete or unplayable maps. Then reopen with some guidlines before posting and certain requirments to be filled.
  13. Dont diss the map center addition it has worked very well. Just could benefit of some top 10 tables in some catagorys thats all. Especially a top 50 maps with highest rank ratings.

  15. Currently i have found out that tanks weapons cant damage other tanks so the tankz map is kinda not working right now, hopefully when next release is out it will be sync'd properly in order to be playable. Still u can always bash into each other to damage if u still want to play it.
  16. I host a private game for me and a mate, we use a password on my server (server on my comp). I did enable ase on conf file but only so mate can see server to join (couldnt see it i think tho) anyhow he kept getting kicked cos another player loged on to my server and i have no idea how he and someone else got on as they shouldnt have been able to without the password. Can this be checked into please if its like this for everyone? Fix is to turn of ase but if i want to use it so ppl can access quickly then i want them to, then i will need it.
  17. 2 new maps added TANKZ - 2 player head to head tank game version set in foggy mist in a enclosed small area. 3 Repair pickups located around the area find them if u can. RaceTrack - 20 player NRG bike race track, using proper race track i made best i could with piecies of track i could find. Will have better and more vaired track in a different race track i want to do at a later date but for now this should be loads of run. 6 Laps round the track. Some dangers such as few holes in barries (intentional) and gap in middle of track which wasnt intentional but is harmless unless u drive in a straight line on it and then u will be trapped till someone can knock u back onto track.   19. Just loving mta sa's map editor i can create maps easily, tho i still dont think i can plan them too well thats why im here to get critism. ( be kind ) They are hosted on mta map site and they are 2 players only (head to head game mode) so just do a search using search option there for 2 spawn maps. Groverace is a fun medium sized map. GTA TREK v1. Is a enhanced all round SA extension to Groverace. (warning pro players only if possible as its hard which it was intended to be). If you like them please vote accordingly at mta map site and show comments there. Thanks all. Have fun. Dont know when or if i want to enhance them but i do plan to at some stage. As its alot to edit and change if i had to.

Map changing is ok now and mate joined via ip and port and that, had a bunch of fun Cheers MTA for a nice release and congrats on the sync, tho can be tiny bit better to match vcmp sync but apart from that its a milestone better than ur old mta for vc sync issues. Hope to see dm version soon or at least a idea to try mount weapons on cars and have em choosable for carmageddon style playing hehe.
  21. ABout voting how do u do it and how do u vote for a particular map as i havent read anywhere that explains how to vote. Thanks about the rcon i will try it. For now ive just rared the other maps and left mine so it always plays it. About server for friend to find, i wasnt talking about ASE i was talking about ingame server browser or is that a ingame version of ASE and will be the same? Just when i host a game (server on my machine and wish to play that game) i wouldnt mind not having to type ip in myself all the time and just click and load using ingame server browser to find my named game and join that way, also helpful for mate as well. AS my ip changes everytime i log on (aol silver). Which is annoying when hosting games.
  22. I made a test map for me and my mate to play on a private server (server is me on my computer). I can setup almost everything i need to make it run but theres a few problems. 1. Its not being detected in the browser list on ingame browser of servers (server aint showing up) 2. How do i manually change map to the map i made its a free roam one and before i go into my server i do this in the dos box thing "startrace free1" but it says error no such race but it is in the race folder with the others and even trying to get other official maps/races to run is hard. I tryed using remote admin thing but u cant change maps unless someone is in the map and when i try to go in server and then try to use admin remote (alt and tab) it wont work the alt and tabbing so i can change maps that way, grr.. So its a bit useless for people who want a server and play on their server. So im after some help on how to change maps ingame easily (dunno rcon stuff so no clue on that stuff. And help on getting my private server on the browser list so mate can join easier rather than using ip. Oh and also i was woundering if i had multiple spawn points ingame, how can players select which ones they want to spawn at? Lets say i have 2 spawn points in grove street and 2 at garage in Los F. How would like if we wanted to spawn instead of grove street and spawn at garage, how can we do this easily ingame without leaving or restarting server? Btw the server really could do with better documentation on this sorta stuff as i looked in wiki (nothing there really) and readme and manual when installed mta sa and yet again nothing there about map changing or spawns or much really. Thanks if you can help me out with this quickly as i want to have it ready for when mate is online later on today.
