MTA Center is back

I guess Friday the 26th of October 2007 Note, this has no reflect on the MTA Team release dates, if any existed...

Na Here is what happend: I upgraded my box to a more powerful one, which left the old one free to sell, team Neo came along and bought it, due to an IP Address mixup that box got my box's IP address, and x.x.x.239 as its 2ndary IP address (which team-neo.com goes too) It just so happend that Team Neo were in the right place at the right time, weird eh? Please note before anyone says stuff, i was never saying that Team Neo were hackers or anything of that nature.

Good afternoon everyone As some of you will be aware, MTA Center isn’t working at the moment and is pointing to Team Neo (Some MTA Clan) The reason for this is that some how Team Neo got hold of the same IP address as my web box thus when you try to goto http://center.mtasa.com/ it will load up Team Neo's home page. I am working as fast as i can with the box owners to get this resolved, and would like to apologize for any inconvenience Thanks

Indeed, there is no anti cheat out there that is 100% efficiant.

Our anti cheat system stops memory from being edited by an external application... Also stops any applications trying to inject into the GTA_SA.exe process.

Stick around #mta in GTANET in the evening (GMT UK Time), i will turn on the radio bot when its on, and then u can connect up

Why not just make a script that times when the last chat message by that player was sent, and if it was sent in that time, block it and tell the player its done ^^ All doable via scripting!

This is extremely easy to fix... Do this: 1) Hold ALT and Hit Tab... the game will still be on your screen. 2) Hit the left mouse button Now you can use your mouse

So - i will start mine [minirant] I like it how you see that post it totally aimed at you - do you get thrills out of posting on this forum, complaining and yes... Moaning... Seriously do you really think that as soon as i downloaded MTA 0.1 (yeah, like the GTA3 one that u had to press keys to sync the cars) that i automatically registered on the forums because i thought it would be a fun thing to do?, No... an im sure that most of the people here didnt either, ive been playing MTA since the start... ive had my fair share of servers online for it starting right from MTA 0.1, to MTA:SA:Race today. I dont see how you can judge me for me giving my thanks to supporters, and not giving my thanks to the people who dont support us. Sure MTA is taking a long time, but to be honest - who gives a crap, really... if you dont have anything better to do than sit around watching these forums and praying that MTA will come out tomorow, then you really need to get your life back in order... FYI... We dont get motorvated by the community being rude or digging at us...

The people your chasing, "Robbers" in this case would not be AI... You could easily make this game mode as 1 player is the robber, and the rest are cops... But this is also known as Manhunt.

sounds like a piece of software you have installed that scans downloads after its been completed... I guess the scanner is removing the download for some obsecure reason.

Sounds like your VPS needs to be reinstalled, ask your server provider to reinstall it for you and enable windows firewall and install a anti virus. The MTA Server will never send out DOS attacks, or enough data to totally render a internet connection useless, it sounds like you have a virus on the server. I hope this helps you.
