Alienxsoftware.co.uk is back online. The new IP is 91.192.210.54, but the server is not online yet so the port is unknown as of this time.

Ok, just for any of those who care, AlienX's popular freeroam server has been down for days, nearly a week. As an Admin, I just want to let players know that not even I know what is going on right now. In addition to the freeroam server, the IRC server is down as well as AlienX's website. I've created an alternate server, but I'm taking it down here soon because I feel that I just can't pull it off unless it had AlienX's modifications to it. So, I'm going to wait it out just like the rest of you. I hope this topic clears some confusion.

it works because you connected locally over your network. I have my own MTA server running (OMG Shameless plug opportunity!!! VISIT MC STUDIOS CLASSIC DM WTF!) and I can play on it locally just fine. Can't play any other servers though.

and when is dp2 going to come out?

I changed the MTU size several times by following an online guide, nothing is working at all. not port forwarding or port triggering. just black screen and a text box.

can someone show me a workaround for this? I mean I know it can be cured, I was at my web design class today and it worked fine over there. I have a netgear WGR614v4 http://kbserver.netgear.com/products/wgr614v4.asp Packet size is set at 1492. Should it be 1500 instead? What am I missing here?

having the same issue here, but after a couple of seconds of waiting it tells me that the connection was lost to the server. I do not have any firewalls enabled.

I am having the same problem and no matter what I do, nothing will work. Will someone please tell me what the hell to do?

Race needs to be configured to work with Vista and XP. I can't stress it enough.
