Can someone awnser this question. I downloaded the GTA3 Real or whatever it is; and when unzipping it comes up with an error - bad CRC df3842b9 (should be 094641b4) Now im no computer genius so can someone solve this in the simplest terms they can?

I've read the website and if i remember right is says F-16, although im probably wrong. I tried to download it but got a wierd error message when un-zipping it.

GOE is good if you all decide to do something; Good old Demo Derbys on the Shoreside runway. But if your doing nothing together it is kinda boring; the word deathmatch is kind of misplaced. But its a good start anyway. I cant comment on MTA, as I installed it etc; but as for finding Server IPs im a bit of a noob. Anyway MTA has a nice clean forum, freindly mods, so I will be able to comment on the release of v3, but until then im just playing through 1 player again. (I finished it aaages ago, so its kinda nice to replay through.) Oh and one thing with GOE - The dodos. Now im no expert, but the game never resets, so those three dodos, as soon as they've been crashed, are gone. Until the server mucks up, which is quite common Well I cant say which one to play on, since I havent been able to play MTA yet. All I can say is thankyou to both groups, for bringing multiplayer into Grand Theft Auto Three. *Clap clap clap* PS: Whoever shuns a game at this point dosent deserve to play MP GTA3

In response to the people talking about competition between the mods: I think its a good thing. With competition going on, each mod needs to progress faster, and be better than each other. With these great mods being developed, each one will have to outthink the other to stay in the game.

With these new mods the art of Dodo-flying has become ancient history. I remember bragging to my mates because I flew all the way over to the first island, then crashed into the water. Im gonna check this F17 but then im gonna go back to the original; Its so much fun. And when you finally get the hang of it its *amazing*. Of course i've only just started playing the game again after, well, ages, so ive probably lost the knack of it. Chocks away everyone!

Im kind of going off-topic here but I remember when I made myself a skin and got it put on someones website... I think its on http://www.gta3.gamehorizons.net and it was some kind of 'matrix' skin. I was looking back at it and laughing at how rubbish it looks compared to all the new ones PS: Im a newbie here, and can I get in trouble or anything for putting another website like that on here?

I havent fully understood; but from what I've gatherd it sounds pretty good. Person A has to get to airport; and theres two teams who have to kill him; and the two teams are against each other. So the team that kills him gets, say, 20 points. Killing an enemy team member gets you 1. So its quite team based What would be fun is when person A gets to the plane/helicopter; he gets the twenty points and he can man the machine gun on the aircraft
