best way is gtarting gta3 (starting a new game) when you see the mta credits alt tab to ase and connect to a server

i think you either installed mta not to the gta3 folder (folder directory call it what ever you like ) or you placed the mta 0.3b installer in the gta3 folder and made install to the gta3 folder (wow that kinds even confuses me ) if you did any of the aboe just uninstall mta and reinstall it correctly (place installer in some folder not the gta3 one, and install TO the gta3 folder)

if you want to find other mta servers use the all seeing eye, its free get it here here is a guide on how to setup ase to use mta 0.3b: prsss on view - options - games tab - if you don't see mta in the installed games list open the not installed list and locate mta there (its named "GTA:MTA") click the browse button and locate the mta.exe file (the mta 0.3b client) - click ok and your all set. on the menu to the left you should see now mta click on it and press refresh (that button with 2 arrows red and blue arrows) or just press f5

nice one dude i got my own tutorial as well: installing instructions: you download the mta 0.3b installer place it in some folder (not the gta3 folder!) install it TO THE GTA3 FOLDER, then you use the launcher and press on the mta button, it starts gta and the mta client, close gta and client, download ase (the all seeing eye get it from here after setting up ase start gta start a new game you will see the mta credits role alt tab to ase connect to a server it will launch the mta client with the correct ip after the mta client connects press on the "send game request button" should work then.

i got win2k and i can play gta3 with no problams

well the old one ate too much traffic because it had lots of pics in it and stuff, i like this though, the colors make it easier to read posts so my eyes aren't all red after reading 30 posts

ase doesn't start gta3 only mta so im afriad you will have to push it to the limit and start gta3 manualy

im locking this thread, YES i know you wanna keep the flaming up but its kinda pointless h0tb0xed don't make such dumb threads flaming someone SPECIALLY when you flame someone who is a mod and part of a big group, we don't need flame threads...

syncing a ped is like syncing a player (i think) just think that each ped would cause the same amount of lag as another player

synced cops and peds? the lag it will create unless everyone on the server got a T3 line it won't be possible even with a T3 it will still lag netcode might help reduce lag but no one can make a magical net code that will turn everyone's busted 56k into a T3 "1337" 100mb/s download/upload i rather play a non lagging 10 players game then playing a hyper lag 2 players game with cops peds and what not

rpg = rocket propelled grenade (if i remember right) i think he means the missile launcher
