  1. KFC, your idea on how "its not cheating, we was all using the same files and we was just having fun" doesn't work.. i've tried. The purpose your doing it for doesn't make any difference at all, its the fact that you did it in the first place.   2. Well, the passenger thing is in the scm, so I'm sure they could spice up some kind of check to make sure there is a driver before it puts you on the passenger seat.

  4. there is an opcode.... set_gamespeed, i think. slows the game down. its the closest thing you could get, scm-wise.
  5. You want glue with cars, right? Well I don't know if you realize what this would look like.. it would be a bit un-realistic.. one of the methods of "glue" they talk about is an opcode in scm that hooks the player to a car, aka puts the player in 'turret-mode'. I believe turret mode is first-person, because if you would see yourself it would not look that realistic. I have seen it myself, and it makes the player float in the air at an offset from the specified car. I could see this happening with boats, but cars... ?
  6. I check on this forum every once in a while, but check the site only once a month. People who check the site every 5 minutes need to find something better to do, along with the people who beg for updates. I know how stressful working on a large project can be, but can only imagine how hard it must be for something like this, so chill.
  7. the cursor display itself is in a txd, but the coding for it is obviously either in the game's exe or a dll. by the way, its easy to "deactivate" it. simply put conrols to standard, the auto-aim doesn't work in this mode

  9. Someone didn't comprehend. Of course auto-aim will always be a part of vice city, but when i say "not work" - im saying "not synced".
  10. I'm hoping auto-aim will not work in blue. The last thing we need is a bunch of unskilled n00bs who cant use the manual aim like everyone else...

    we already have an animation editor, its called hallower's chop shop. gta is not meant to be fps, period. no reason it ever should be. opium, why aren't you using your OpiuM. account?

  13. hmmmm, shooting while parachuting? the game engine only allows 1 animation to be played at a time, so custom animations would have to be created with hallower's chop shop.. is there an 'if check' opcode that goes something like 'player $blah is_falling'? i would just run that check, and if you are falling + if you have the parachute weapon out + if you press FIRE, create the parachute object a little + z above player, ill have to expirement with the hooking because thats something ive never done before

  15. Well, unless the devs can somehow trick the engine.. I'm not sure.. For some reason, animations of players entering and leaving cars made bitchpacking impossible. atleast thats what i've heard http://forum.mtavc.com/viewtopic.php?t=9829
  16. What about rendering you vulnerable for 5 seconds and THEN rendering you invincible. What harm could this cause on a stunt server, or some other game mode like CTF?
