Is the patch for your version of the game? I think US and Europe had different versions. If you still have problem, pm me.

First of all, don't start a new topic everytime you have a problem, stick to the first one. Second, what version of VC do you own? 1.0 or 1.1? If it happened when you first time started to play, try relaunching it again, after rebootingg your system. If it happens after you played for a while, remember that MTa VC is a beta software, and it has some bugs, so just close the error window, and get in game again.

Go to download section, and download MTA 0.5. Install it, put it in exception in your firewall, disable any hax, make sure you don't have any mods, run it, put your nickname, choose a server, enjoi.

It's an issue with GTA engine, yes. It occurs mostly when there is a heavy storm. 2.0 fixes that glitch, but as we know, it's not modable :
